While the PC release of Red Dead Redemption 2 wasn’t as smooth as expected, there still is a lot of reasoning behind buying the game once again. Red Dead Redemption 2 PC had quite an extensive list of exclusive content, but now it’s about to change. Rockstar Games announced that all of the PC-dedicated content will be released to consoles as well.

If you own Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4, you can hop right into action since the new update is already live. However, Xbox One players will have to wait until January 21st to enjoy these new missions.

For those who didn’t know, PC-exclusive Red Dead Redemption 2 content included a variety of bounty hunter missions, new gang hideouts, treasure maps and some trinkets that could enhance your player status. In addition, the PC version of Red Dead Online also had exclusive weapons and a variety of horses. Lastly, we should also mention that PC-exclusive photo mode will make its way into the console version of the game as well.

While the amount of content is not that huge, some console players weren’t happy about its exclusivity. Some internet petitions and forum posts probably were the key reasons behind lifting this restriction, so from January 21st, every Red Dead Redemption 2 player will play the same version of the game.
