After the initial announcement of two new Pokémon games, there was a considerable lack of information regarding the titles. However, yesterday The Pokémon Company hosted a new Pokémon Direct stream which revealed that both games will come out on November 15th, 2019.

The stream was jam-packed with new details and gameplay mechanics such as Max Raid Battles which will work similarly to Pokémon Go raids but will host only four players at a time. Additionally, while in combat players will be able to Dynamax their Pokémons which increases them in size and boosts their power.

Of course, new Pokémons! Zacian and Zamazenta are the two legendaries. Corviknight, Drednaw, Gossiefleur Eldegoss, and sheep-like Wooloo was also added to the list of newcomers. You can check them out in the new trailer:

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
