Monster Hunter World is celebrating its 1 year anniversary

It’s been exactly a year since Monster Hunter: World has launched worldwide. Capcom decided to celebrate this occasion with a special in-game anniversary event called the Appreciation Fest. This event is now live across PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms featuring new quests, cosmetics and more.

The Appreciation Fest will be available till February 21st. During its second week, Capcom has also promised to release the long-awaited The Witcher 3 content as a free update. This should kick off on February 8th.

While the Appreciation Fest provides players with an exquisite opportunity to fight the largest and most fearsome monsters in the game to this date, the event also unlocks all of the past event’s quests. This means that players will be able to obtain special gear they’ve missed previously. However, not all quests will be available at once. Capcom has shared a special event schedule to help players plan out their time.

Additionally, throughout the event’s time, the developer is giving daily login bonuses and bounties. Upon completion, these will give players Appreciation Tickets which can be used to purchase various cosmetic items.
