Last year there was some news regarding the new Capcom’s venture to the big screen. Following the success of the Resident Evil movie saga, the company has decided to bring another game franchize on to the big screen. According to reports, the filming of the Monster Hunter movie has already started, however, the full picture will only be released in 2020’s September.

The news states, that Monster Hunter movie will be written, produced and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson who was responsible for all six Resident Evil movies. These movies earned quite a lot of money, with Resident Evil: The Final Chapter raking more than 312 million dollars worldwide, so that might very well be the reason why Capcom trusted Monster Hunter to the hands of Paul W.S. Anderson.
