Last year Microsoft has kicked off their E3 press conference with an unexpected announcement of the new Halo game – Halo Infinite. However, the short trailer was everything we’ve gotten so far, so it’s safe to assume that fans of the series should expect some news this year.

Talking with IGN, the head of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross, has confirmed fan assumptions. According to him, Microsoft is preparing to ‘go big’ in E3 2019 and expect to unveil Halo Infinite in its full glory. However, Bonnie Ross didn’t actually explain what going ‘big’ means. This might be a gameplay trailer, the story reveals or even a playable demo… We’ll just have to wait and see.

Another solid theory rumors about the new generation’s hardware reveal for Xbox during E3 2019, so Halo Infinite might become Microsoft’s first cross-generation title. From the very first Halo Infinite reveal, fans were expecting the game to be a new console launch title. If that would be the case, we can sure get behind the promise of a ‘big’ reveal.

Having in mind the fact that Sony will skip the E3 2019, Microsoft has all the chances of owning the show. Just recently, CD Projekt RED announced that their massively anticipated title Cyberpunk 2077 will also be in E3 2019. For a second, imagine a scenario where Halo Infinite and Cyberpunk 2077 are both announced for the new generation’s Xbox hardware simultaneously… A man can dream, right?
