The Witcher collectible card game Gwent launched its beta on PC back in 2017. Later, the game received its versions for consoles as well. Now, 2 years later, the game is finally arriving on your mobile device. The developers at CD Projekt RED announced that Gwent will be coming to iOS devices on October 29th.

However, there’s a catch. While the progress you made on PC will carry over to your mobile version of Gwent, the console players will have to start fresh. Additionally, there’s still no word about the Android version of the game. We know it’s in the works, but an estimated release time frame would be nice to have.

We might get more details on the upcoming weekend’s stream scheduled by CD Projekt RED. Fans of the game (including us) are hoping to learn more about the changes coming to the mobile version of the game and possible hints about how cross-play will (or will not) work. If you’re interested, you should follow the studio’s Twitch channel.

If you’ve never played Gwent, it’s a separate collectible card game, that first made its debut in The Witcher game series, only with way bigger card pool and additional mechanics. You can learn more about the game on the official Gwent website.
