Yesterday we’ve announced free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers and today is the day for the fans of Xbox. Let’s take a look at the games Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to play for free during March.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion

Starting today, everyone with the active Xbox Live Gold subscription can download an awesome RPG game based on critically acclaimed animated series Adventure Time. In the game, Finn and Jake are exploring dangerous waters, interrogating pirates and fighting against the bad guys in the magical land of Ooo. The game will be available for free until March 31st.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2

Later in the month, Xbox One players will get to play one of the most fun team shooter games out there – Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. The game has everything you could ask for from an online team shooter game – it can support up to 24 players in massive and colorful battlefields, and also has plenty of classes to choose from. If you’re not a fan of competitive shooting, Garden Warfare 2 also offers a brief story mode which can be completed alone or together with some friends in a special co-op mode. However, in order to play this great game you’ll need to wait a bit – Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will be available for free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers starting March 16th.

Star Wars: Republic Commando

This is yet another old goodie playable on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Star Wars: Republic Commando is a tactical first-person shooter video game built on Unreal Engine. While it was released way back in 2005, its extraordinary story was universally praised among critics. A definite must-play for any fan of Star Wars. However, don’t wait for too long in order to play it. The game will be available from March 1st to March 15th.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

The last game in Xbox Live Gold games list for March is another classic from Konami – Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The game will become available on March 16th on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. To put it bluntly, it’s an action hack and slash game developed by genre expert PlatinumGames. The game boasts a lot of cool action sequences while still retaining that Metal Gear feel. If you’re a fan of the original Metal Gear series, you might’ve missed on this one. And for sure it is a worthy addition to the Metal Gear mythos.

All games listed above are available for free during the weeks of March. In order to play them, you must be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber. The best way to become one is to purchase a gift card on Eneba store.
