If you’re a fan of the old Karate Kid movies (or recently discovered this universe via Netflix series), you will be pleased to know that we will get a new game inspired by Cobra Kai. According to the news, Cobra Kai will become a new beat-’em-up style co-op fighting game which will be released on October 27th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

According to the information provided, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues, will feature more than 28 story missions, boss fights, and more. The developers said that players will have to complete both sides of the story  – in order to get to the game’s true conclusion, players will have to complete both dojos’ story arcs.

You will be able to select and freely switch between 8 game’s characters including Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso who are voiced by the original actors William Zabka and Ralph Macchio. It’s also worth noting that each character will have a separate skill tree to upgrade while playing the game. Cobra Kai will also feature a two-player couch co-op which will take you back to the days of old when beat-’em-up games ruled the market.

It will be interesting to see how this new game will perform in the nowadays gaming industry. Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues is being published by GameMill Entertainment who recently announced a huge list of video game adaptations. We can only hope that all of them will get the attention they deserve.
