There’s no denying that CD Projekt Red’s next game Cyberpunk 2077 will be a massive hit. The game is highly anticipated among the gaming community but until today we haven’t heard anything about its system requirements. During the latest Night City Wire stream, the developer finally revealed the minimum and recommended specs for all of you who plan to play this game on PC.

Minimum Cyberpunk 2077 PC requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7 or 10, 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 470
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 70 GB HDD, SSD recommended

Recommended Cyberpunk 2077 PC requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10, 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
  • Memory: 12GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 Fury
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 70 GB SSD

To be honest, these are not very scary considering what the game has in store for us. Many of the current PCs should be able to run Cyberpunk 2077 without any massive upgrades and that’s always a good thing.

On other news, there were plenty of other reveals during the Night City Wire #3. The developer showed a lot of new trailers and spoke about the game’s length. Apparently, Cyberpunk 2077’s campaign will be shorter than The Witcher 3’s. CD Projekt Red Senior Quest Designer Patrick revealed that the decision to shorten the game was made with previous metrics in mind.

“The main story run in Cyberpunk 2077 is slightly shorter than The Witcher 3, because we got a lot of complaints about the Witcher 3’s main story just being too long. Looking at the metrics, you see tremendous numbers of people played through that game really far, but never made it to the end.”

However, you shouldn’t be scared that Cyberpunk 2077 will be short. It’s just a little shorter than 50-hour The Witcher 3’s main story, setting aside all the side-quests in the game. Cyberpunk 2077 will have plenty of side-quests too and a way bigger incentive to replay the main story since the world and its story is being shaped according to the way you play.
