If you’ve never had a chance to try one of the best gaming series of our time and have a Nintendo Switch laying around then this is the news for you. Some internet detectives found out that BioShock: The Collection has been rated by the Taiwanese games rating board on Nintendo Switch. Apparently, it’s an early indication of things to come…

For the uninitiated, BioShock: The Collection is… well, a collection of all BioShock games. It includes the original BioShock and BioShock 2 as well as BioShock Infinite. BioShock: The Collection was first released in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and included remastered versions of these games so it will be interesting to see whether Nintendo’s versions will have similar visual upgrades.

In addition to a new rating for the whole collection, games have also been rated separately. This might indicate that all games could be released to the Nintendo store on their own as well.

While we still wait for the official confirmation by Nintendo and should take these early ratings with a grain of salt, the release of these games seems highly likely. Just recently we’ve written a blog post about a new BioShock game being in the works by a newly formed studio Cloud Chamber. So, re-releasing all of the old BioShock titles to one of the most popular consoles in the world right now seems only reasonable, don’t you think?
