A Plague Tale: Innocence

This first of many games to play in May is A Plague Tale: Innocence. In short, it’s an action-adventure game developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive. The game’s story follows two siblings, Amicia and her younger brother Hugo, fighting to survive in order to escape the Inquisition.

According to developers, A Plague Tale: Innocence gameplay blends action, adventure and stealth in a series of survival puzzles which should be interesting to you if you’re looking for a slower paced game with a rich story. The game is launching on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on the 14th of May.

RAGE 2

Probably the biggest title on our list for games to look forward to this May is RAGE 2. It’s the new open-world mayhem created by the cooperative efforts by the experts of the genre: id Software and Avalanche Studios and then published by Bethesda Software.

RAGE 2 is taking a more vibrant approach to its visual design, focusing on the explosiveness and colorfulness of the surrounding action, while also moving away from the brown, drab look of the world seen in the first game.

If you’re into FPS and are looking for something fun to do while you’re waiting for Borderlands 3 – look no further. RAGE 2 is coming out on the 14th of May for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Team Sonic Racing

While some old school SEGA fans are joining the outrage regarding the new Sonic Movie, the rest are patiently waiting for the new game with the iconic hedgehog and his friends. Sonic Team Racing is the new arcade style racer which will appeal to anyone who loves to play games with friends.

According to developers, Team Sonic Racing combines the best elements of arcade and fast-paced competitive style racing as you face-off with friends. The game features online multiplayer (up to 12 players) and local co-op modes (up to 4 players on split screen mode) with the unique feature to race as a team. The game will be released on the 21st of May on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Total War: Three Kingdoms

Every strategy fan knows that they’re getting some quality time by buying anything with Total War name tag on it. The latest entry in the critically acclaimed series is Creative Assembly’s take on ancient China’s history with Total War: Three Kingdoms.

If you’re a fan of the strategy genre, you won’t find a better game to buy this month, as we already wrote in detail why it’s definitely worthy of your time. Total War: Three Kingdoms will launch on 23rd of May and will release exclusively on PC.

Conan Unconquered

We’re wrapping up our list with yet another offer for the fans of strategy – Conan Unconquered. It is a real-time strategy game set in the barbaric world of Conan the Barbarian. Here you must build your stronghold and assemble an unconquerable army to survive against the savage hordes.

What sets this game apart is the feature that enables the game to be enjoyed in full two-player co-op, thus allowing for a truly unique, shared multiplayer experience. Players share a base, in it, both can freely construct new buildings and amass an army to reach their common goal.

Additionally, you should know that the game is being developed by Petroglyph, and that team has some Command & Conquer veterans among their ranks! So, you most definitely should expect a quality product with this one. The game will be out on the 30th of May.
