Forza Horizon 4 is the newest game in the legendary gaming franchise that has brought us 7 Forza Motorsport games and now 4 games in the Horizon series, all of which have been essential to the genre of racing games. They have always been known for having a large array of vehicles to choose from, and this time is no different, as there are more than 450 unique tire-burners in the Forza Horizon 4 car list!

Both modern and classic cars can be found in this game, each more powerful than the previous one and there is plenty of modification options for each one of them as well! Taking each of them out for a spin may be quite the challenge, however, the gaming community has never been known to be one to shy away from the challenges that certain games present! One thing needs to be made clear though, not all cars that have been seen in previous games are making a return. Some car manufacturers did not make it to the Forza Horizon 4 car list, while some others are making a return to the franchise after skipping out on a few recent titles. Here’s what you can expect to find in their most recent game!

Cars NOT in the Forza Horizon 4 car list

Due to licensing agreements between Playground Games and the car manufacturers falling through, some vehicles that you might expect to find making an appearance in a game like this. Unfortunately, no cars from either Tesla, Toyota, or Lexus are featured in the Forza Horizon 4 car list this time around. This does mean that we’re missing out on the likes of Tesla Model S, Lexus LF-A, and Supra or Celica from Toyota gracing the streets in FH4. Therefore, we are missing out on a part of racing history, however, it would probably take the average player quite a while before they would notice it because of the insane number of cars within the game!

Mitsubishi was also not a part of the manufacturers in the game from the get-go, which was a big loss to the game. Thankfully, the legendary Lancer EVO along with a few other models have joined the Forza Horizon 4 car list during an update that took place this January! This also brings some hope that other manufacturers that are currently not a part of the game may still make an appearance in the future!

Cars returning to the Forza Horizon 4 car list

While Mitsubishi has finally returned for yet another consecutive appearance in the Forza franchise, some others have taken a bit of a break only to return once again. Probably the most prominent of those is the Ascari manufacturer returning to the game after not appearing in quite a few recent Forza games. Morgan Aero Supersports is also making its grand return to the Forza Horizon 4 car list which definitely adds some class and prestige to the numerous aggressive-looking sports cars in the game. This is one for those who like to ride about with as much elegance as speed, and there is no doubting that the Morgan Aero SS is one speedy four-wheeler!

Car classes

Once the new FH4 is booted, you will be quick to notice that the vehicles are classed out in terms of their rarity. There are four different classes – Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary, going from the most common to rarest in that order. The rarity of vehicles on the Forza Horizon 4 car list are not necessarily indicative of the actual performance of the vehicle. However, it is much more exciting to drive about in legendary vehicles, and it is true that they do tend to be faster, more agile, and overall more impressive than the rest!

Getting more cars

While a vast number of cars can be purchased for the game, not all of them can be unlocked with the power of money alone! If you want all of the vehicles you will have to work and grind a little bit before you go on to complete your Forza Horizon 4 car list with every vehicle in the game at your possession! Some cars will only be unlocked as you progress through the story mode within the game and continue on winning the races you partake in. Keep up your dominance and reap a vast array of vehicles as rewards!

Whenever you are out and about in the Forza open-world environment, don’t forget that exploring can be beneficial as well! You will find barns scattered about in the map, those barns hold old, rugged vehicles within that probably haven’t been started up for years. Fix them up and add some new gems to your Forza Horizon 4 car list! Anything from a classic Jaguar E-Type or an MG MGB GT, all the way to a TVR Cerbera or XJ220 Jag can be found in those barns! If that isn’t worth investing your time into, then what is?

Which is the fastest in the Forza Horizon 4 car list?

Just looking at a car’s speed rating is pretty boring, and everyone can do it by themselves. But how about their actual speed? The results might quite honestly surprise you! Even though the game is packed with powerful modern supercars with roaring V12 engines, one of the classic cars in the Forza Horizon 4 car list takes the cake when it comes to top speed in the open world! Keep in mind, this speed is reached with all the best possible upgrades on the car. Can you guess which one is it?

If you guessed the classic that has been the fastest in quite a few Forza games before, you’re right! Once again, Jaguar D-Type takes the cake as the fastest car in the game, reaching speeds of up to 287 mph in the open world environment!

If you want to read up on the full list of cars you can easily find it on the web, the key aim here was to provide the key parts on what to expect from the Forza Horizon 4 car list! The game itself is absolutely amazing and you won’t find a single car that is not worth to take out on the road, that much is for sure!
