While our gamer community has been robbed of some annual gaming events which usually tell us what we should get excited about, we’ll get a substitution. Ubisoft announced a new digital game showcase, called Ubisoft Forward, which will happen on July 12th, 2020.

As usual, the news broke via Twitter. The official Ubisoft account posted this:

In a separate press release Ubisoft representative expanded their announcement with a comment:

“With physical gaming shows around the world postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ubisoft will be hosting its first digital conference, called Ubisoft Forward, on July 12 at 12PM PDT/9PM CEST. Get ready for an E3-style showcase with plenty of exclusive game news, exciting reveals, and much more.”

So yeah… Even though it’s quarantine, we’ll still get our annual dose of Ubisoft game news. There are plenty of already announced games such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods and Monsters, and Rainbow Six Quarantine.

We would also love to see what progress has been made or even get a release date of some sort…  There are also some “new games” and that’s always nice. Especially with next-generation consoles being just around the corner.
