If you have been playing action-RPG games for a while, you probably heard about Runic Games’ creation called Torchlight. The first version of the game was released in 2009 and after its success, the company has released a sequel called Torchlight II in 2012. Years after its initial release on PC, the game is coming to consoles as well.

The game will be ported for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and should be released on September 3rd, 2019. However, Runic Games won’t be a part of the console version since the company is now defunct. Torchlight II port is in development by Panic Button which is known for many other famous game ports to console. The game will be published by Perfect World Entertainment.

According to the publisher, Torchlight II port won’t be just a simple adaptation to other platforms. Perfect World Entertainment said that the console edition will feature enhanced controls, an improved targeting system, new console specific interface, a bunch of new achievements and trophies, and a whole lot of new pets. In addition, the game will include a new couch co-op mode which wasn’t present in the PC version of the game.

If you’ve never played Torchlight II or you need a memory refresher, now is your chance to check it out. We have awesome prices for both games in our store.
