Super Mario Maker 2’s community continues to surprise us. Last week Nintendo announced that their Super Mario Maker 2 game surpassed an impressive milestone and already features more than 20 million Super Mario courses uploaded online. This is an insane amount of content generated since the game’s release back in 2019.

Super Mario Maker 2 started strong over a year ago. The game was released in June 2019 and since then has sold over 5 million units across the globe. Nintendo reported that the game surpassed 5 million copies sold back in January so the current number might be even bigger. From what we gather, the game might be nearing 10 million since players who own the game but don’t have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription can’t upload their courses into the Course World.

In any case, it’s nice to see that Super Mario Maker 2 keeps on getting bigger and better. Even today it would take years for anyone wishing to complete at least a portion of the content currently available in the game. Having in mind the fact that we’re getting hundreds of new and creative levels every day, it seems that Super Mario Maker 2 might be on our radar for years to come.

If you never heard about this game before, essentially it’s a Super Mario building simulator where players can create, share and play through levels created by other Super Mario Maker 2 players. The game was received well by players who agreed that Super Mario Maker 2 has lots of advantages compared to the first iteration of Super Mario Maker released on Nintendo Wii U console sometime ago. It has an intuitive course building mode with lots of tutorials, features, and more.

If you still feel nostalgic about playing side-scrolling Super Mario games, be sure to check it out. We’re sure you’ll find that Super Mario Maker 2 is worth every penny considering the amount of content you’re getting for it. And we have a great price for the game!
