Bluehole, the developer behind TERA Online, in its recent blog post announced that it will launch an official crossover event with a hit battle royale game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The event will start on March 5th and will allow players of TERA to enjoy special combat scenarios based on PUBG gameplay.

The event will be available for all TERA Online players who have reached level 60. These players will be able to participate in many themed daily events, and by participating, earn special costumes, items, and other rewards. Additionally, level 70 players will be able to hunt down PUBG-themed Tuwangis spawnings. These special enemies will drop crates, keys, event consumables, and Battle Points – all of which can be used to collect PUBG costume gear.

Funnily enough, in order to earn at least one reward, you won’t need to do anything. Rewards will also be given to the players who will log in at least for an hour during the event’s timeframe. The crossover event begins on March 5th and ends on April 5th.

Some of you might ask, why PUBG x TERA. What do these two games have in common? The answer is fairly simple – Bluehole. Same developer, different publisher. The two games share a deep history together. The team behind PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds used to work on En Masse’s office. In fact, some of the earliest builds of PUBG were actually done in TERA developers’ office.
