Every month PlayStation announces a new line-up of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Once again, the company released 3 free PS Plus games for April – 1 for PS5 and 2 for PS4 users. These include Oddworld: Soulstorm, Days Gone, and Zombie Army 4: Dead War.

Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5)

In case you haven’t heard about the Oddworld series before you should know that it’s an interesting side-scrolling platform game that was first released in 1997. Throughout the years the series has been released on various gaming platforms and the latest – Oddworld: Soulstorm – landed on PS4 and PS5 just now. It’s worth pointing out that only PS5 owners will be able to claim this game for free, so if you want to try this game on your PS4, you’ll have to purchase it separately.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War (PS4)

April has a special zombie theme going on as both PS4 titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers are filled with mindless monsters. Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a third-person shooter game where the player has to fight an army of nazi zombies. While might seem wacky at first, you should know that the Zombie Army series was born as a spin-off to the critically acclaimed Sniper Elite series, meaning that you can expect quality gameplay and visuals all around.

Days Gone (PS4)

Another zombie game is a weird one. Days Gone is one of the games for The PlayStation Plus Collection which is available for all the PlayStation 5 owners all the time. This title showing up on free games for April for PS Plus subscribers might seem like we’re missing one game but this fact is true only if you’ve already got your PS5. Those playing on PS4 still have no way to access Days Gone for free, so this might be a perfect time to give this game a try. Rumor has it, that we’re getting a sequel announcement in a few months…

All of these games are available now for PlayStation Plus subscribers. If you’re looking for a better way to renew your PS Plus membership, be sure to check out our PlayStation gift card deals.
