With Mortal Kombat 11 heading towards its inevitable launch on April 23, 2019, more and more fighters are getting their reveals! The newest gem in the NetherRealm’s fighting series’ roster is expected to feature 25 unique challengers (not including the DLC contents) and certainly not all of them are yet out in the daylight!
On the bright side, we do have quite a few already revealed characters waiting for the tournament to start, as well as some other characters that have been featured in the recently posted Mortal Kombat 11 Story Trailer but haven’t been confirmed as the playable parts yet!
Whichever is the case, here are all the so far featured and revealed characters that will either join the official roster or at least be a part of the game during the Story Campaign mode! And as always, you can already pre-order the newest Mortal Kombat 11 fighting game as well as some other MK franchise games on our Eneba Marketplace!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Baraka
Baraka was revealed really early, in one of the first MK11 gameplay demonstrations. As one could expect, the creature has an exceptionally gory fatality, where he rips his opponent’s face, then the skill, then the brain, and as a cherry on the top – chomps on the brain. Yes, the newest MK 11 release promises to be even more intense than you’ve anticipated, and Baraka only proves it.
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Cassie Cage
Her first appearance was on the MK X tournament and now she’s back for more! Cassie Cage is the daughter of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage so it’s certain that the girl can both pack a punch and knows how to use some of the most innovative gadgets on the market to reach her goals! Witness her full-scale return with the game’s launch!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – D’Vorah
She made her debut in MK X and now she and her pet bugs return in MK 11! D’Vorah had strong allegiances with Kotal Kahn and she actually was the one that overpowered and dismembered Baraka in the previous Iteration! It’ll certainly be an interesting show to see her and Baraka meet for a rematch!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Erron Black
One of the fan favourites marks his return with the featured MK 11 Story trailer release! Erron Black is back with a bang, the mysterious Old-West-feel carrying gunslinger is shown blasting his enemies apart and we are psyched! Prepare to stock up on the ammo, lock and load, and get ready to go, the battle is going to be a fierce one!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Geras
Geras is the newest challenger in the series. He’s a dedicated Kronika’s follower, and an entity that feels the flow of time differently than that of other characters. Can also manipulate sand, has a heavy brawling style plus the supernatural aspects.
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Jacqui Briggs
Same as quite a few other characters featured in the upcoming MK 11 roster, Jacqui Briggs has made her debut in the MK X game and is now returning for some more intense-action! Her father is Jackson Briggs and despite his efforts to protect her from the dangers of the tournament, she got involved big time!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Jade
Sindei has officially massacred jade in the MK 9 game, however, with Kronika doing her crazy time-warp shenanigans, Jade has been revitalized for one more go! This ninja-type character uses her pole, bladed stars, and sturdy knives to tear her opponents apart and her shadowy aura ability allows her to dodge death entirely! As they say – it is important to learn from your mistakes!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Johnny Cage
As far as the Story Mode shows, there will be two available versions to Johnny Cage, his younger variant, and his current, military-oriented self! Johnny Cage has one of the funniest and most bizarre fatalities in MK 11: multiple re-takes until the Hollywood-like perfection is finally achieved! Is it brutal? Yes. Is it humorous? Yes. Is it over the top Johnny Cage-like? It’s Oscar-worthy!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Kabal
The mysterious Kabal certainly doesn’t wear that bloody mask to protect his beautiful & well-garnered skin. He made his debut in MK 3 and since then fought for both good and later evil forces. One of his major goals is to become the new leader of the Black Dragon clan and we know at least one other guy featured in the MK 11 roster that wouldn’t like that to happen! We can’t wait for the face-off!

One of the earliest challengers throughout the MK series has once again found his way into the newest bloody adventure! Kano is the Black Dragon organization’s leader, a mechanized, brute, and agile warrior quick in his acrobatic manoeuvres and sharp in his mind, definitely a fierce competitor to add into the mix!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Kitana
While she has only been referred to and there’s no evident gameplay of her yet, it is extremely likely that Kitana will join the MK 11 character roster! Kitana has made her debut in Mortal Kombat II and is more than familiar to the fans of the series. Kitana herself is quite an experienced fighter, given that she’s more than 10k-years old! She is also extremely close to Liu Kang.
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Kronika
Kronika seems to be the main antagonist in the newest game and she looks twisted, cunning, deviant and very powerful. Time manipulation is no joke, and because of her time-bending powers, the newest MK 11 promises to be quite unlike anything else. She might not join the official roster and will only be available to fight against as the all-timely boss!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Kung Lao
The veteran of the series has made his debut in MK 2 and ever since then was one of the fan favourites of all time. Kung Lao is a former Shaolin monk and has no intentions on winning the tournament. Even though Kung Lao has met his end in the MK 9 he has been featured in the MK 11 story trailer, so our hopes that he won’t be just a narrative-addition are really high!

The legendary Liu Kang is one of the first few characters known in the Mortal Kombat universe from the very beginnings, furthermore, he’s the 4-time undisputed champion of the Mortal Kombat tournament, and on top of that, he might be returning with the MK 11 launch!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Kotal Kahn
Introduced in the MK X for the very first time, the Emperor of Outworld makes his return in the newest MK 11 iteration! This legendary Mayan warrior possesses brute strength, immense speed, and no remorse! While he’s only been featured on the Story Trailer so far, we have our fingers impatiently crossed!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Raiden
We are used to seeing the God of Lightning in his good moods, but after his trials against the elder god Shinnok, much has changed. Prepare to feel the dark side of Raiden. Red lightning and uncontrollable rage are but a guarantee. Also, Raiden will be one of the main characters featured throughout the MK 11 story mode. While such fact has not been confirmed, the Immortal Champion has been featured in the MK 11 Story Trailer, so we can only hope!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Scorpion
Whether you love him or hate him, Scorpion is here since the beginning and he’s not planning to retire anytime soon. Based on what was shown so far, we’ve already seen two versions of Scorpion! Will it be the same story as with Johnny Cage’s younger version? Did Kronika really mess things up so much that a single universe now has to fit two of these Hellspawn monsters?!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Shao Kahn
Shao Kahn returns to MK 11 as a Pre-order bonus character. This iron-will possessing character just doesn’t know when to give up and returns for one more endearing battle, will it be the long-awaited enclosure to some of his bigger defeats during the years? This incredible fighter just grows stronger from defeat, and even death is not enough of a reason to stop!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Shinnok
Shinnok is not confirmed as a playable character yet, however, he’ll definitely join the campaign mode. Being one of the primary antagonists, Shinnok simply couldn’t miss the opportunity to wreak havoc once more! Neither defeat nor death can stop one of the most sinister Elder Gods in the MK universe. Prepare, as the evil never lies still.
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Skarlet
The bloodmancer woman has only been seen as a DLC roster addition in the MK 9, however, now she has her art completely mastered and is ready to join the challenger ranks! Prepare to create some truly bloody masterpieces! The red artisan is sure to find plenty of materials for her works surging within her every opponent’s body!

For the 11th time, Sonya Blade is joining the ultimate battle for the faith of the Earth! However, this time she’s even more intense! The legendary former UFC champion and the current WWE superstar Ronda Rousey is voicing her and teaching her all the right moves! Be amazed and mind-boggled, the superstar is ready for action!
Mortal Kombat 11 characters – Sub-Zero
Same as Scorpion, Sub-Zero has been a veteran in the franchise and has even found his way into the Injustice 2 DLC roster! It is no surprise that the master of ice is joining the MK 11 roster to fight against the good, the bad, and the timeless. Prepare for some chilly atmosphere, frosty strikes, and frozen victories!
