Holy smokes! We received some great news from Sucker Punch Productions that recently released their highly anticipated action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima. Seems like we’re not done with it just yet. Developers announced that it has another ace up its sleeve and will release a separate Ghost of Tsushima: Legends DLC which adds a co-op multiplayer mode into the game.

Here’s the trailer:

The best part about this unexpected announcement is that this mode will be free to everyone who purchased the original Ghost of Tsushima game. The only payment you’ll need to do is to make sure that you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription (and are in the clear with all your internet bills).

According to the trailer, players will be able to pick one of four different classes – Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, or Assassin – and play with friends or via online matchmaking in a series of two-player story missions or four-player wave-based survival missions. As the title suggests, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will focus more on folklore rather than real historical facts. The trailer features daemons, hellish realm where Legends will take place, and brief snippets of gameplay.

It’s a really nice addition to the already great game and we can’t wait to learn more about Legends release. According to developers, the team has plans to launch Ghost of Tsushima Legends sometime this fall. We’ll keep you posted!
