Short Description

MAC-10 | Whitefish is a CS2 SMG skin with white fish scales, bones, and hooks over a black base. Its dense artwork and pale blue-gray strap suit players who want a mostly monochrome weapon with a small color accent. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are also available.

Description

The MAC-10 | Whitefish is a CS2 SMG skin for the Terrorist side, built around white fishing imagery on a black base. Underneath the finish, the MAC-10 pairs a high firing rate with heavy recoil and limited spread accuracy. Scales, skeletal fish, and hooks give the artwork its visual identity. An illustrated magazine and densely marked grip extend the theme beyond the receiver. A pale blue-gray front strap introduces a cooler accent among the dark metal parts. The design suits monochrome loadouts and players who prefer detailed illustrations to bright color blocks. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions provide different collecting options. Before deciding which copy to buy, players can compare exterior, float value, and version alongside its CS2 skin price.

History and Origin

MAC-10 | Whitefish entered CS:GO on March 13, 2019. It arrived with the Prisma Case through the "Prisma Case Skins" update. Mia, a Steam Workshop community designer, created its fishing-themed artwork. The skin belongs to The Prisma Collection, linking it to the case's weapon lineup. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Prisma Case no longer drops, so fresh case drops do not replenish its supply. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened for a chance at this skin. Today, buyers can also obtain an existing Whitefish directly through marketplaces or a trade with another player.

Finish Style

The Whitefish finish uses the Gunsmith style, with hand-painted fishing imagery spread across a black foundation. White and gray scale outlines run along the receiver's sides, creating a layered pattern rather than a single large emblem. Near the front, fish bones sit among hook shapes and curved lines. The grip carries tightly packed white scale markings alongside bold, bone-like forms. A long white fish skeleton runs along the black magazine, giving that part its own clear motif. The muzzle, upper receiver, trigger guard, and folded stock remain mostly dark, broken up by pale metallic highlights. A pale blue-gray strap hangs at the front and carries white markings. Together, these details create a dense, illustrative finish with a muted palette and contrasting dark weapon hardware.

Float Value

MAC-10 | Whitefish has a float value range of 0.00 to 1.00. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior tier missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available too; version choice is separate from the float and cosmetic condition of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

The Whitefish is a Mil-Spec Grade skin in The Prisma Collection. Its drop chance from a Prisma Case opening is 11.42%, although the case itself no longer drops. Owners include professional players tarik, bodyy, and tabseN.

Why it’s Popular:

• White fish artwork stands out against the black base

• Detailed receiver, grip, and magazine create a cohesive theme

• Muted colors suit monochrome loadouts

• All exterior tiers offer a broad choice of condition

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions add collecting options

Price Range

The live MAC-10 | Whitefish price range is $0.15 to $34.00. These bounds cover the skin as a whole, rather than fixed prices for a particular exterior or version. Its accessible price level makes it a practical option for a budget-focused SMG slot. Exterior, float value, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir status help distinguish copies with the same finish. Buyers should compare matching versions and inspect each listing's condition rather than treating the overall range as a quote for a specific variant.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Prisma Case

Opening a Prisma Case gives a chance to receive MAC-10 | Whitefish. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. The skin's 11.42% opening chance makes this a random route that does not ensure the desired result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MAC-10 | Whitefish can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Check the exterior and version of the item being sold before choosing a listing. This route targets an existing copy rather than a random case result.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain MAC-10 | Whitefish by trading with other players. Compare the offered skin's exterior, float value, and version before agreeing on the exchange, since the specific copy matters more than the finish name alone.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Prisma Case's retirement removes new case drops, but existing cases remain openable and can still produce more Whitefish copies. Professional ownership adds a collecting angle, while the accessible price level makes it an inexpensive holding rather than an assured flip. Buy, sell, and trade decisions should compare matching exteriors and versions, with future resale demand treated as uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Prisma Case drops

• Ownership by tarik, bodyy, and tabseN

• Accessible price level for budget-minded collectors

• Distinctive fish artwork across receiver, grip, and magazine

The editorial investment rating is medium. A retired case source, accessible pricing, and professional ownership provide a reasonable basis for considering selected copies as holdings. The main risk is that existing cases can add supply while future buyer demand remains uncertain.
