MAC-10 | Gold Brick

MAC-10 | Gold Brick is a CS2 skin for the Terrorist-side MAC-10 SMG, featuring a metallic gold receiver surrounded by dark hardware. Bright edge highlights and a fine, uneven texture give the gold surface its character. The finish suits players who prefer material contrast over illustrated artwork. Regular and Souvenir copies are available across every exterior, with no StatTrak™ version.

Description

The MAC-10 | Gold Brick is a CS2 SMG skin that pairs a gold upper body with restrained black and gray components. Its Anodized Multicolored finish concentrates the metallic color on the receiver rather than covering every weapon part. Dark hardware frames the gold housing, creating a clear contrast between the main body and its surrounding components. The design emphasizes material, light, and texture, with no visible artwork or prominent lettering competing for attention. The underlying MAC-10 fires rapidly, but its wide shot spread and strong recoil are trade-offs. This look suits gold-accented Terrorist loadouts while retaining the weapon's dark grip, magazine, and stock. Regular and Souvenir copies give buyers different version options, alongside a complete selection of exterior categories. Before choosing a listing, compare its float value, exterior, version, and item image rather than relying on the finish name alone.

History and Origin

MAC-10 | Gold Brick was released on December 3, 2020, during the Operation Broken Fang update. Valve created the finish, making it an in-house design rather than a community-designed submission. The skin belongs to The Ancient Collection, which also provides the collection-specific route for eligible trade-up contracts. Souvenir copies are associated with 8 Souvenir packages, giving the finish a separate package-based acquisition route. Examples include the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and the Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. Today, existing copies can be purchased on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player-to-player trades. Trade-up contracts offer another chance at the finish by converting eligible Mil-Spec Grade skins from its collection into a random Restricted result.

Finish Style

The metallic gold receiver is the visual center of the Gold Brick finish, with bright reflections emphasizing its edges. Long recessed horizontal lines run along the side, adding structure to the otherwise simple gold housing. A fine, uneven speckled texture keeps the surface from appearing completely smooth or uniformly polished. The barrel and trigger assembly remain dark gray or black, separating the gold body from the weapon's functional details. The grip and long magazine continue that dark palette beneath the receiver. A dark wire stock extends behind the body without repeating the metallic gold treatment. An olive-gray fabric strap hangs from the front, secured by bright silver fittings that introduce another contrasting material. The Anodized Multicolored finish relies on shifting highlights and surface detail for its character, rather than artwork or prominent lettering.

Float Value

MAC-10 | Gold Brick has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.70. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior categories is missing. Both regular and Souvenir versions exist, but there is no StatTrak version; version availability is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

MAC-10 | Gold Brick is Restricted, a rarity classification separate from its float value and exterior condition. Its stated Ancient Collection acquisition chance is 0.21%, about 1 in 469, which should not be confused with a guaranteed trade-up outcome. Documented professional owners include rallen, salazar, and C4LLM3SU3, providing ownership context without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Metallic gold receiver with bright edge highlights

• Dark hardware provides a clear contrast

• Textured finish without prominent artwork or lettering

• Regular and Souvenir options across every exterior

Price Range

The live MAC-10 | Gold Brick price range is $12.50 to $201.00. Both regular and Souvenir copies are available, so compare versions rather than assuming a fixed Souvenir premium. Exterior and float help distinguish listings, while the live bounds cover the whole skin rather than any fixed variant. When comparing offers to buy, sell, or trade, match the version and exterior before weighing the float, visible condition, and current asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open an Ancient Souvenir Package that contains this skin for a chance at a Souvenir copy. Supported examples include the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and the Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. The result is random, so purchasing an existing listing is the direct route when this particular finish is the goal.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract can exchange 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Ancient Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Gold Brick is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins. This route offers a chance at the finish, not a guaranteed alternative to buying a specific listing.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct route to an existing MAC-10 | Gold Brick listing. Buying a listed copy targets this skin rather than relying on a random package or contract result. Check whether the item is regular or Souvenir, then compare its exterior, float value, and asking price.

5. Trade with Other Players

Players can acquire Gold Brick through a player-to-player exchange involving an existing copy. Agree on the exact version and exterior before completing the trade, since both regular and Souvenir versions exist. Inspect the item's float value and visible gold receiver rather than relying only on the name shown in an offer.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Available listings span regular and Souvenir copies, giving traders distinct versions and exterior categories to compare. Documented professional ownership provides some ownership evidence, but it does not establish market-wide demand or predictable resale activity. Without a verified supply trend or sales history, decisions to buy, sell, or trade should focus on the individual listing rather than an assumed price trajectory.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive metallic gold finish

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Regular and Souvenir collecting options

• The Ancient Collection provenance

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by its distinctive appearance, Ancient Collection identity, and documented professional ownership. Regular and Souvenir listings offer several buying options, but those choices alone do not demonstrate sustained demand. The main risk is uncertain resale performance, with no verified supply trend or price history supporting an expectation of returns.
