Description

MAC-10 | Rangeen is a CS2 skin for the Terrorist-side MAC-10 SMG, finished as a Custom Paint Job. The weapon pairs a high rate of fire with limited spread accuracy and substantial recoil. Rangeen gives that compact weapon an Egyptian-inspired design rather than a plain metal appearance. Orange and pale cream markings sit against dark charcoal, with an outlined eye drawing attention to the receiver. The dense decoration suits players who want a patterned SMG that retains a muted base color. NEO, yam and Polly are among the professional players who own the skin. Its options span Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions also available. Comparing the exact float and version helps narrow listings to the desired condition and features.

History and Origin

MAC-10 | Rangeen was released on September 17, 2015, alongside the Shadow Case. It arrived through the Shadow Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer PTP created the finish, establishing its community-designed origin. The skin belongs to The Shadow Collection, which identifies its collection separately from the case used to obtain it. Its Ancient Egyptian motif supplies the artistic theme, with an eye featured prominently in the artwork. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Shadow Case drops. Existing Shadow Cases can still be bought on the market and opened, keeping that acquisition route available despite the retirement. Today, finished copies can also be bought on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player trades.

Finish Style

The Custom Paint Job uses an Ancient Egyptian theme, built from orange and pale cream decoration over a charcoal base. An eye outlined across the receiver's upper side gives the design its clearest focal point. Side panels combine dotted edging with curved strokes and a fan-like shape spreading outward. On the grip, slim ornamental panels gather loops, dots and zigzags into a tighter arrangement. The magazine continues the palette through horizontal stripes, broken up by small dashes and dots. Much of the muzzle, upper receiver and trigger area stays dark gray, separating those metal sections from the heavily decorated panels. A woven strap in pale olive hangs near the front, adding another texture beside the painted surfaces. Together, these details create a dense, graphic finish whose strongest contrast comes from pale motifs against dark metal.

Float Value

MAC-10 | Rangeen has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.50. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, giving buyers condition choices across the supported range. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but version availability should be considered separately from the cosmetic exterior of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

MAC-10 | Rangeen is a Mil-Spec Grade skin within The Shadow Collection. Its chance from the Shadow Case is 11.42%, making that opening route a chance-based purchase rather than direct selection. Finished copies remain obtainable through market listings and player trades even though the case no longer drops.

Why it’s Popular:

• Outlined eye and dense Egyptian-inspired decoration

• Orange and cream artwork against a dark receiver

• Exterior options from Factory New to Battle-Scarred

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir choices

Price Range

The live MAC-10 | Rangeen price range is $0.23 to $20.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than identifying a particular exterior or version. Its modest price level still leaves room to compare individual listings carefully before buying. Float value adds detail within an exterior, while standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should be checked separately. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the desired version and condition instead of assuming the lowest listing meets every preference.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shadow Case

Open an existing Shadow Case for a chance to obtain Rangeen, with an 11.42% chance for this skin. The case no longer drops, but remaining cases can still be bought on the market and opened. This route leaves the result uncertain rather than letting the buyer select a particular listed copy.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy MAC-10 | Rangeen on the Steam Community Market when a suitable listing is available. Compare the advertised exterior and version, then check the individual float where that information is available. A direct purchase targets a listed copy instead of relying on the Shadow Case result.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another route to acquire the finish without opening a case. Check whether the offered copy is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir, and confirm its exterior and float before accepting. The exchange depends on finding another player willing to trade the desired copy.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Shadow Case supply receives no new drops, although existing cases can still be opened to add finished skins to circulation. Professional ownership provides a point of interest, but it does not establish future demand or a reliable price trend. When buying, selling or trading, compare exact exteriors, floats and versions rather than treating every Rangeen copy as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Shadow Case drops

• Documented professional ownership

• Distinctive Egyptian-themed artwork

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir choices

The investment rating is medium: retired case supply, professional ownership and a modest price level provide reasons to consider holding the skin. Those factors do not establish sustained demand or promise appreciation. The main risk is uncertain future buyer interest while existing cases can still produce additional copies.
