About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality refers to the cosmetic exterior associated with float value. Disco Tech spans 0.00 to 1.00 and comes in every exterior from Factory New through Battle-Scarred; its rarity and version are separate.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's grade, separate from its cosmetic condition. Disco Tech is Classified and has a 1.07% chance from a Prisma 2 Case opening.

How much does MAC-10 | Disco Tech cost?

MAC-10 | Disco Tech ranges from $4.10 to $76.44. These bounds cover the whole skin; compare individual listings by exterior, float and version.

What exteriors does MAC-10 | Disco Tech come in?

MAC-10 | Disco Tech comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.00 to 1.00.

Which case contains MAC-10 | Disco Tech?

MAC-10 | Disco Tech is found in the Prisma 2 Case. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened.

Does MAC-10 | Disco Tech have StatTrak or Souvenir versions?

MAC-10 | Disco Tech is available in both StatTrak and Souvenir versions. Check the version separately from the exterior and float when comparing listings.

Short Description

MAC-10 | Disco Tech is a CS2 SMG skin featuring a pearlescent Custom Paint Job that changes appearance with the light. Yellow, orange, pink and magenta panels suit colorful loadouts, while dark hardware provides contrast. All exteriors are available, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also offered.

Description

The MAC-10 | Disco Tech brings a light-reactive, multicolored finish to the Terrorist-side MAC-10 in CS2. The underlying SMG emphasizes rapid fire, with recoil and spread accuracy as trade-offs. Its receiver moves from warm yellow and orange toward pink and magenta at the rear. Dark diagonal stripes and black hardware break up the bright painted surfaces. The pearlescent effect gives the finish a changing appearance rather than a single fixed color. This look suits players who prefer vivid weapon finishes with clearly defined dark accents. Ownership by kennyS, s1mple and dupreeh gives it a documented connection to professional players. Buyers can compare cosmetic condition, exact float value and available versions without treating every copy as interchangeable.

History and Origin

MAC-10 | Disco Tech was released in CS:GO on March 31, 2020. It arrived with the Prisma 2 Case through the Prisma 2 Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer hexeth created the finish. The skin belongs to The Prisma 2 Collection, which also determines its collection-based trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Prisma 2 Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, keeping the original acquisition route available. Today, direct market purchases, player trades and eligible Trade Up Contracts provide alternatives to opening its case.

Finish Style

A light-reactive pearlescent coating gives the Custom Paint Job the character of holographic adhesive vinyl. The receiver transitions from yellow and orange at the front to pink and magenta toward the rear. Three dark diagonal stripes cross the rear side panel, interrupting the bright color field. Two long dark slots run along the upper receiver and add another linear detail. The grip surround repeats the warm-to-pink coloring around a black textured center. The barrel, long magazine, trigger guard and rear stock hardware remain dark gray or black. A gray woven strap hangs from the front, adding a contrasting fabric texture. Small markings on the colored panels provide detail without making the overall design visually crowded.

Float Value

The MAC-10 | Disco Tech float value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, while float and exterior describe cosmetic condition separately from the version.

Rarity and Popularity

MAC-10 | Disco Tech has the Classified rarity grade. Its chance from a Prisma 2 Case opening is 1.07%, so opening the case does not guarantee this finish. Although new cases no longer drop, existing cases and market listings remain acquisition options.

Why it’s Popular:

• Pearlescent colors change with the light

• Yellow, orange and magenta suit colorful loadouts

• Dark hardware contrasts with the bright painted panels

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional collecting choices

Price Range

The live MAC-10 | Disco Tech price range is $4.10 to $76.44. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed price for any particular exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the exterior and version before checking the exact float value. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings should be assessed separately when deciding which copy to buy. Sellers and traders should compare current asking prices rather than assume that a preferred variant sits at either bound.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Prisma 2 Case

Opening a Prisma 2 Case offers a 1.07% chance of receiving this Classified skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Restricted skins from The Prisma 2 Collection produces a Classified skin from that collection. Disco Tech is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MAC-10 | Disco Tech can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of pursuing a random case or trade-up result. Check the exterior and version of the listing against the copy being sought.

5. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the skin by trading with another player who owns a copy. Compare the offered item's float, exterior and version before accepting, since the finish name alone does not identify its condition.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops limit replenishment of Prisma 2 Cases, although existing cases and Trade Up Contracts can still add skins to circulation. Professional ownership supports visibility, but does not establish consistent buying demand or fast resale. Compare exact float, exterior and version before buying, selling or trading, rather than assuming future price growth.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply cannot be replenished through new drops

• Classified rarity with a 1.07% case-opening chance

• Documented ownership by kennyS, s1mple and dupreeh

• Distinctive pearlescent finish with light-dependent colors

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide collecting options

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired case supply, Classified rarity and documented professional ownership. The main risk is uncertain demand while existing cases and trade-up contracts can still add copies to circulation.
