MAC-10 | Ensnared

MAC-10 | Ensnared is a CS2 SMG skin featuring shadowy pixies trapped behind a pale gray and icy blue receiver panel. Bright eyes, outstretched hands and angular accents give the weapon a supernatural look. It suits players who prefer character artwork concentrated on the weapon's main body. All exterior tiers are available, alongside standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MAC-10 | Ensnared brings a supernatural theme to the Terrorist-side MAC-10 in CS2. Its Custom Paint Job turns the receiver into an illustrated enclosure for pixies trying to escape. The figures stand out through bright eyes and hands pressed against the pale surface, rather than through a brightly colored background. Mostly dark supporting parts keep attention on the artwork while giving the weapon a restrained overall palette. This combination suits players building a fantasy-themed loadout or looking for an SMG with a character-driven design. The underlying MAC-10 offers a high firing rate, with poor spread accuracy and strong recoil as its trade-offs. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options let buyers choose a version separately from the skin's exterior condition. Individual listings are worth comparing by float value, exterior and version before selecting a copy to play with or trade.

History and Origin

MAC-10 | Ensnared was released on January 20, 2022, alongside the Dreams & Nightmares Case. Its introduction formed part of the Dreams & Nightmares Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer b3d created the finish, giving it a named community origin. The skin belongs to The Dreams & Nightmares Collection, linking its collection identity with the case that introduced it. Its central concept depicts pixies confined inside the weapon and attempting to escape. The accompanying flavor text adds to that idea by presenting the creatures as deceptive rather than merely decorative. As of October 9, 2026, the Dreams & Nightmares Case was in the weekly drop pool through the Weekly Care Package. Beyond opening that case, buyers can obtain existing copies through marketplace purchases or trades with other players.

Finish Style

Ensnared uses the Custom Paint Job finish style to place detailed character artwork on the MAC-10. A pale gray and icy blue panel covers the receiver, establishing the cool-toned background for the design. Shadowy pixies appear within that panel, with bright eyes and hands pressed outward against its surface. Thin blue lines trace the panel's lower edge, separating the illustration from the darker area below. That lower section has an olive-gray color with fine gold-colored geometric outlines, adding structure beneath the figures. Matching angular linework appears on the grip, carrying a supporting design detail away from the main illustration. The long magazine and barrel remain mostly dark gray, leaving those parts visually quieter than the receiver. A gray hanging front strap includes pale stitching and light metal fittings, adding contrasting details without another character scene. The artwork's concentration on the receiver makes the trapped-pixie concept the focal point while the rest of the weapon stays relatively plain.

Float Value

The float value of MAC-10 | Ensnared ranges from 0.00 to 0.90. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior tiers is excluded. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are supported, but version availability is separate from the exterior condition and exact float of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

MAC-10 | Ensnared has the Mil-Spec Grade rarity classification. Its stated chance of appearing from the Dreams & Nightmares Case is 11.42%, while the case's weekly drop status means new copies continue entering the market. Snax, kennyS and olofmeister own the skin.

Why it’s Popular:

• Trapped-pixie artwork gives the receiver a distinct supernatural theme

• Icy blue accents contrast with mostly dark supporting parts

• All exterior tiers offer flexibility when choosing a copy

• StatTrak and Souvenir options suit different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live MAC-10 | Ensnared CS2 skin price range is $0.03 to $9.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than assigning a permanent price to a particular exterior or version. Exterior and exact float value help distinguish listings, with options running from Factory New through Battle-Scarred. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir status should also be checked instead of assuming every copy is directly comparable. Before deciding where to buy or sell, compare the listed item's details and current asking price rather than choosing solely from the overall range.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Dreams & Nightmares Case

Open the Dreams & Nightmares Case for a chance to receive this skin, with a stated result probability of 11.42%. As of October 9, 2026, the case was available through the Weekly Care Package's weekly drop pool. Opening the case remains a randomized route, not a way to select a particular exterior or float.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MAC-10 | Ensnared can be bought on the Steam Community Market rather than pursued through a random case opening. Check the listing's exterior and version carefully, and review its item details before purchasing a copy for a loadout or collection.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain Ensnared by trading with other players who already own a copy. Compare the offered item's exterior, float value and version with the intended purchase, then assess the exchange using current listings rather than assuming all copies have equal value.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Dreams & Nightmares Case remains a source of new supply through weekly drops, so Ensnared does not have a closed-supply scarcity case. Professional ownership offers a reason to notice the finish, but future buyer demand and price direction remain uncertain. For a practical trade comparison, separate standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies, then check each item's exterior and exact float.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive trapped-pixie artwork

• Owned by Snax, kennyS and olofmeister

• Low entry cost for a themed loadout

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options

• Full exterior range supports different buying preferences

The editorial investment rating for MAC-10 | Ensnared is medium-to-poor. Its low price level, distinctive artwork and professional ownership offer some appeal, but ongoing weekly case supply weakens the scarcity argument. The main risk is continued availability without proven demand growth, making a purchase for the design easier to justify than one based on expected returns.
