About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality, or exterior, describes a skin's cosmetic condition through its float value. Neon Rider comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn, but not Battle-Scarred.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is a skin's grade and relates to its chance of appearing from a case. MAC-10 | Neon Rider is Covert, with a 0.32% chance from a Chroma 2 Case opening.

How much does MAC-10 | Neon Rider cost?

MAC-10 | Neon Rider ranges from $92.41 to $224.60. Compare individual listings by exterior, float and version.

Short Description

The MAC-10 | Neon Rider is a CS2 SMG skin featuring a helmeted biker illustration and vivid neon colors. Hot pink and turquoise contrast with a dark gray receiver, creating a busy, graphic-heavy finish. Its look suits players who prefer bold artwork over understated weapon colors. Standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are available, with exteriors ranging from Factory New to Well-Worn.

Description

The MAC-10 | Neon Rider applies a Custom Paint Job to the Terrorist-side SMG in CS2. Its defining artwork is a helmeted biker whose skull-like face occupies the rear side of the receiver. Dark gray, hot pink and turquoise give the finish a sharp, high-contrast palette rather than a subdued appearance. Matching accents extend onto the muzzle, trigger guard and magazine, carrying the color scheme beyond the main illustration. The weapon itself fires rapidly, but its shots spread widely and its recoil is substantial. This finish suits brightly colored loadouts and players who want detailed character artwork on their SMG. Professional players coldzera, Happy and mixwell have owned the skin, providing documented ownership beyond its visual appeal. Buyers can compare the exterior, exact float and version of individual copies instead of treating every listing as interchangeable.

History and Origin

MAC-10 | Neon Rider entered CS:GO on April 15, 2015. Its release accompanied the Chroma 2 Case Skins update and the introduction of the Chroma 2 Case. Steam Workshop community designer Puffin created the finish. The skin belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which also provides its collection-specific trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. The Chroma 2 Case no longer drops, separating its historic release from continuing new case supply. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened for a chance at the skin. Today, direct market purchases, player trades and eligible trade-up contracts offer alternatives to opening the original case.

Finish Style

The finish combines a dark gray receiver with hot pink panels and bright turquoise accents. Turquoise runs along the top and across the sides, framing the larger character artwork. The helmeted biker dominates the rear side of the receiver, with a skull-like face as the illustration's focal point. Jagged turquoise shapes and pink streaks surround that figure, giving the surface a sharp, crowded graphic layout. The muzzle, trigger guard and upper grip area are pink, while the trigger adds a contrasting turquoise detail. The magazine shifts from turquoise to gray and features rows of dark dots. A turquoise strap hangs from a gray front attachment, extending the palette to a separate weapon component. The Custom Paint Job's visual character comes from its painted illustration, strong color contrasts and angular shapes.

Float Value

The MAC-10 | Neon Rider float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.45. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn, with no Battle-Scarred option. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions exist, but version type is separate from the exterior and float used to describe cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

MAC-10 | Neon Rider has the Covert rarity grade. Its chance of appearing from a Chroma 2 Case opening is 0.32%, so opening the case does not guarantee this finish. Although the case no longer drops, existing cases and eligible trade-up contracts remain acquisition routes.

Why it’s Popular:

• Helmeted biker artwork gives the receiver a distinctive focal point

• Hot pink and turquoise suit bright loadout themes

• Detailed accents extend beyond the receiver

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options offer different ownership choices

Price Range

The live MAC-10 | Neon Rider price range is $92.41 to $224.60. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Exterior labels describe broad condition categories, while exact float values allow closer comparisons between individual copies. Compare standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings separately rather than assuming the version label determines the best offer. When buying, selling or planning a trade, check the pictured finish, exterior and float alongside the current asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Chroma 2 Case

Open the Chroma 2 Case for a chance to receive this skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. The Neon Rider chance is 0.32%, making this a random route rather than a direct purchase.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Classified skins from The Chroma 2 Collection to produce a Covert skin from that collection. MAC-10 | Neon Rider is a possible result. The outcome is random among the collection's Covert skins, so the contract cannot select this finish.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MAC-10 | Neon Rider can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Compare the selected listing's exterior and version, and check its float where available, rather than relying on the finish name alone.

5. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be obtained through a player-to-player trade using items another player agrees to accept. Check the offered copy's exterior, float and version before confirming that it matches the intended trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Chroma 2 Case restricts new case supply, but existing openings and trade-up contracts can still add copies of the skin. Professional ownership supports interest in the finish without establishing market-wide demand, listing depth or price trends. Compare exterior, float and version carefully when assessing a buy, sell or trade opportunity.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case limits fresh case supply

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive biker artwork and contrasting neon colors

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden variant selection

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by the retired case source, documented professional ownership and distinctive artwork. Existing cases and trade-up contracts can still produce copies, while future demand and price direction remain uncertain. This is an editorial opinion, not financial advice.
