Short Description

The MAC-10 | Toybox is a CS2 SMG skin covered in colorful cartoon artwork. Chickens, alien-like faces and equipment motifs overlap across its receiver, grip and magazine, creating a dense, playful finish. Its turquoise, pink, green and yellow accents suit players who prefer busy illustrations over restrained weapon designs. All exteriors are available, alongside standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

The MAC-10 | Toybox brings a Custom Paint Job finish to the Terrorist-side SMG in CS2. Black outlines separate overlapping drawings, giving the receiver a layered appearance despite the closely packed colors and shapes. Chickens, alien-like faces and equipment imagery provide recognizable subjects among the scribbles and small markings. The artwork continues onto the grip and long magazine rather than staying confined to the main body. The underlying MAC-10 combines a high firing rate with pronounced recoil and poor spread accuracy. Its illustrated finish suits players building a colorful loadout or looking for a weapon with a playful visual theme. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer different collecting options without changing the identity of the Toybox design. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float value and version to select a copy that fits their cosmetic preferences.

History and Origin

The MAC-10 | Toybox was released on September 21, 2021. Its debut came with the Operation Riptide update and the Operation Riptide Case. Steam Workshop community designer Ryuken created the finish, giving the weapon its cartoon-covered visual identity. The skin belongs to The Operation Riptide Collection, which is also relevant to its Trade Up Contract route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops of its source case. As of October 9, 2026, the Operation Riptide Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened, so the historic case route remains available despite that retirement. Direct purchases and player trades provide ways to obtain an existing copy without relying on a randomized case or trade-up result.

Finish Style

Toybox uses the Custom Paint Job style to cover the MAC-10 with a dense arrangement of illustrated subjects and abstract details. Turquoise, green, orange, pink, cream and yellow form the palette, with black outlines separating neighboring elements. The receiver carries overlapping cartoon drawings with very little plain space between them, making the main body visually busy. Chickens, alien-like faces and defuser imagery give the composition identifiable subjects rather than leaving it entirely abstract. Irregular shapes, scribbles and small markings fill the gaps, reinforcing the layered character of the artwork. The grip and long magazine continue the illustration, extending the same visual theme across the lower parts of the weapon. White chevrons and bright pink and green patches give the magazine distinctive details within that shared design. Yellow-orange accents appear around the muzzle and trigger guard, carrying the warm colors into smaller weapon components. The hanging front strap is pale beige with a visible woven texture, adding a quieter material detail beside the colorful painted surfaces.

Float Value

The MAC-10 | Toybox has a float value range of 0.00 to 1.00. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior tier excluded. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, while exterior and float describe cosmetic condition separately from those version choices.

Rarity and Popularity

The MAC-10 | Toybox has Classified rarity within The Operation Riptide Collection. Its chance from the Operation Riptide Case is 1.07%, or about 1 in 94 openings. KRIMZ, kennyS and s1mple own the skin, providing examples of professional ownership without establishing broader demand or future price performance.

Why it’s Popular:

• Colorful cartoon artwork with recognizable chickens and alien-like faces

• Illustrations continue across the receiver, grip and magazine

• All exterior tiers offer different cosmetic condition choices

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions support different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live MAC-10 | Toybox price range is $13.03 to $99.31. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Exterior and exact float value help distinguish individual copies, so both matter when comparing listings. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies add separate version choices that should be checked before comparing asking prices. When deciding to buy, sell or trade, use matching listing details rather than treating the overall CS2 skin price range as a fixed valuation.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Riptide Case

Open the Operation Riptide Case for a chance at MAC-10 | Toybox, with a 1.07% chance. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Opening one does not guarantee this Classified finish.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract uses 10 Restricted skins from The Operation Riptide Collection to produce 1 Classified skin from that collection. Toybox is a possible outcome, but the result is random among the collection's Classified skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing MAC-10 | Toybox through the Steam Community Market rather than attempting a random case result. Check the listing's exterior, float value and version before choosing a copy. This route allows buyers to select the offered item directly.

5. Trade with Other Players

MAC-10 | Toybox can also be obtained through trades with other players. Compare the offered copy's exterior, exact float and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir status before agreeing to an exchange. Those details help distinguish the item being traded from other copies of the same finish.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Operation Riptide Case receives no new drops, although existing case openings and Trade Up Contracts can still add Toybox copies. Ownership by named professionals gives it visibility, but does not prove sustained buying demand or reliable resale activity. Traders should compare available versions carefully, since a single market view cannot establish a lasting price trend.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply receives no new drops

• Ownership by KRIMZ, kennyS and s1mple

• Distinctive multicolor cartoon design

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The investment rating is medium, supported by its retired source case, professional ownership and range of collecting options. Existing openings and trade-ups can still produce skins, so case retirement does not make Toybox supply fixed. The main risk is uncertain future demand, with no established price history here to support a stronger investment conclusion.
