MAC-10 | Cat Fight

MAC-10 | Cat Fight is a CS2 SMG skin featuring a snarling cat over a dark teal receiver. Cream stripes, yellow artwork, and a small red-and-white target give it a busy, high-contrast appearance. The finish suits players who prefer illustrated weapon designs with rough edges rather than a plain color scheme. Every exterior is available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MAC-10 | Cat Fight brings an aggressive illustrated theme to the Terrorist-side MAC-10 in CS2. The weapon combines a high rate of fire with substantial recoil and limited spread accuracy. Its Gunsmith finish centers on a large cat illustration, with a target positioned near the receiver's rear. Teal metal parts and cream graphics extend the design beyond the main artwork, giving the weapon a coordinated appearance. The combination suits colorful loadouts and players who want a visibly decorated SMG rather than an understated finish. Copies are owned by professional players daps, chayJESUS, and hades, providing verified examples of professional ownership. Buyers can choose across the complete exterior range and compare standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir versions. When selecting a copy, the useful distinctions are its actual float value, exterior, version, and visible condition.

History and Origin

The skin debuted on September 16, 2025 with the Sealed Genesis Terminal in the "Genesis Skins" update. It was created by Maloo, a Steam Workshop community designer. Its collection membership is The Genesis Collection, which also determines the relevant inputs for its trade-up route. The accompanying flavor text reinforces the illustrated cat's aggressive character by drawing attention to its claws. Today, the Steam Community Market offers a direct purchase route for buyers seeking a selected copy rather than a random result. Player-to-player trading provides another way to acquire an existing skin through an agreed exchange. Trade Up Contracts can also produce Cat Fight using eligible Mil-Spec Grade skins from its collection, although the outcome is random. The terminal's current supply status is unconfirmed, so its release date alone does not establish whether supply is becoming more limited.

Finish Style

Cat Fight uses a Gunsmith finish with a dark teal base across the receiver. Cream stripes contrast with that background and contribute to the layered appearance of the body. The central illustration combines yellow, white, and black in a large snarling cat with jagged, rough-edged details. A small red-and-white target appears above the cat artwork near the rear of the receiver. Teal continues onto the muzzle, front fittings, trigger, and rear bracket, while the wire stock remains dark gray. The grip, long magazine, and hanging front strap carry distressed-looking graphics in cream and gray. Small black lettering on the strap adds detail away from the main illustrated panel. Scattered marks and irregular lines create a busy visual texture across most visible surfaces, so rough-looking graphics are part of the design itself.

Float Value

The float value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, covering Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are both available, alongside standard copies. Version availability is separate from cosmetic condition, so buyers should check the exterior and exact float of each listing.

Rarity and Popularity

MAC-10 | Cat Fight has the Restricted rarity grade within The Genesis Collection. Its stated chance from the Sealed Genesis Terminal is 3.21%, approximately 1 in 31 outcomes. Ownership by daps, chayJESUS, and hades confirms professional ownership, but does not establish the strength of broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Large snarling cat artwork gives the receiver a distinctive focal point

• Teal, cream, and yellow create a high-contrast palette

• Distressed graphics suit players who prefer busy illustrated finishes

• All exteriors, plus StatTrak and Souvenir options, provide buying flexibility

Price Range

The live MAC-10 | Cat Fight price range is $0.35 to $17.45. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than any fixed exterior or version. Its price level places it in an accessible buying bracket, but individual listings still require comparison. Check the exterior and float together, using the item image to judge the appearance of the particular copy. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings should be compared separately before deciding which CS2 skin price fits the intended purchase.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Genesis Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Cat Fight is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins. This route offers a chance at the finish rather than a way to select it directly.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The MAC-10 | Cat Fight can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Check the listing's exterior and whether it is a standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir version before choosing a copy. Buying a selected listing avoids the random outcome associated with its trade-up route.

4. Trade with Other Players

Cat Fight can be acquired through a player-to-player trade with someone who owns a copy. Compare the offered skin's exterior, float, and version with the item being exchanged. Before completing the trade, confirm that the specific copy matches the agreed details.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Existing market copies and the collection trade-up route provide acquisition options, but terminal supply and sustained demand remain uncertain. Professional ownership supports interest in the finish without proving liquidity, price growth, or reliable resale speed. Anyone looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare matching versions and exteriors rather than treat every Cat Fight listing as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Verified ownership by professional players

• Accessible price level for a decorated SMG

• Distinctive cat artwork and coordinated teal palette

• Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir options broaden buyer choice

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by its accessible price level, distinctive design, and verified professional ownership. The main risk is uncertainty around future supply and demand, with trade-ups providing an additional route to new copies. It is better approached as a playable purchase than as a bet on price appreciation.
