If you love pixels and RPG games, you will be pleased to know that Dragon Quest 1, 2, and 3 will finally get their first European console releases. Dragon Quest’s Twitter account has revealed that the first three Dragon Quest games will be coming to Nintendo Switch on September 27th.

The rerelease won’t be a straightforward classic port since throughout the years the original Dragon Quest games received a bunch of ports for other platforms including mobile. Nintendo Switch version should also get some pixel-art updates which will make the game more on-par with current graphic standards.

If you’ve never played Dragon Quest, you should know that it’s one of the most popular classical RPGs which was released in Japan back in 1986. Throughout the years the series received a bunch of sequels and expanded its reach to other mediums including manga and anime.
