Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is challenging and cruel for those that are slacking, but enjoyable and gratifying beyond belief for those ready to put some serious effort. Whichever group you belong to, From Software can only thank you. Their newest Soulsborne samurai challenge has just been confirmed reaching the 2mil milestone, and you should also keep in mind that the confirmed numbers were reached in barely 10days since the game launched on March 22, 2019!

It’s rather safe to say that today, the sales numbers got boosted to even greater heights. The tormenting samurai-flick might as well become the most successful developer’s project so far, and honestly, we couldn’t be happier! To put it into perspective with other From’s games, Bloodborne took six months to pass the 2mil sales benchmark, and Dark Souls III (an already well-established franchise) hit the three million sales thresholds in two months.

If you’re into more numbers, as noted by Activision, Sekiro has rightfully earned a ‘’Must-Play’’ status on Metacritic (only 1% of games each year manage this), and the overall game reviews are topping the charts with 90+ review rating across all platforms! These facts alone would be an impressive feat for any developer, yet, this is not even the cherry on the top of the interest that the game has accumulated worldwide so far!

When it comes to Twitch streaming platform, on launch, the one-armed Wolf has easily picked up the #1 most-watched spot, and within the first weekend, Sekiro has become quite famous amongst the Shinobis’ with 631 million minutes watched! The numbers are only growing, and within the first week, the guy’s trials and errors have been viewed for more than 1.1 billion minutes. We’ve done the maths and converted the minutes into years, that’s 2000 years of total watch time!

If you haven’t yet experienced what the fuss is all about, we urge you to acquire the game and feel it out. It won’t be easy at the start, and you’ll die in the middle, and you’ll still die plenty in the end, however, you’ll love it nonetheless. Check out our price for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice on Eneba!
