To everyone’s surprise, yesterday Capcom has revealed a new game on their Resident Evil YouTube channel. The new video teases a new game called Project Resistance and it seems like a proper team-based survival horror experience.

Of course, this is only a cinematic trailer and the actual gameplay of this new project will most likely be revealed at the upcoming Tokyo Games Show. However, even the cinematic trailer offers some glimpses of what we might expect from the Project Resistance.

It’s fairly obvious that the video features 4-player co-op, however, there’s one detail in particular, that most of you have probably missed. There’s a man who flicks the switches and revives the monsters for players to combat, which might mean that the fifth player will get to control the zombies (and a giant Mr. X). A man can dream…

Project Resistance should be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, however, no date of the release was revealed. We can safely assume that we’ll learn more about this new game in the upcoming weeks, right after the Tokyo Games Show.
