Capcom just announced yet another crossover for their monster hunting game with one of the biggest PlayStation titles in recent years. Monster Hunter World’s latest expansion Iceborne will feature a crossover with Horizon Zero Dawn’s Frozen Wilds, exclusively for PlayStation players.

Deja vu? If you’re a fan of Monster Hunter World, you might remember that Horizon Zero Dawn has already been featured in a special event last March. Back then players were able to unlock a special Aloy outfit for their hunter as well as her iconic bow. This time will be quite similar, however, instead of outfits, you will be able to play as Aloy herself.

Same as before, players will be able to do certain missions in order to unlock the outfit, weapons, and a skin for the player’s companion. Having in mind that both DLC’s are ice-themed, we hope to see some Horizon Zero Dawn monsters coming to the Monster Hunter World as well. Capcom previously told that Iceborne will be almost the same size as the original game.

However, we might be wrong. As we’ve said, the crossover is exclusive to PlayStation 4 players, so that might just be a couple of cosmetics in order to boost Monster Hunter World sales on the console. Both games are somewhat similar – players use primitive weapons and guerrilla tactics in order to take down different kinds of monsters.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is set to be released on September 6th.
