It’s hard to believe that it has been almost a year since God of War was released. Sony is already gearing up for the celebration of the 2018s best game’s anniversary and offers some free goodies on PlayStation Network for the week.

Even if you haven’t played God of War you can download a free dynamic theme for your PlayStation 4 console alongside a selection of God of War themed avatars for your PSN account.

For this week only, head over to PlayStation Store and type in ‘God of War – Your Journey Awaits Dynamic Theme’ in the search window in order to install a beautiful theme depicting Kratos and Atreus in a boat. Visuals are accompanied by a special musical theme that plays in the background.

Starting tomorrow, Sony also plans to unlock a set of custom God of War themed avatars which usually are not free. However, fans of the game might grab their favorite before the actual God of War birthday on April 20th.

Additionally, the developers of the game released a post on PlayStation Blog with a special message for the fans thanking them for their support and assuring that God of War saga is not over yet.
