Epic Games finally revealed some details about the upcoming Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 5 finale event which will be a bit different this time around. According to Epic, for the first time ever, the finale event will introduce a special solo mission that can be completed without any friends. The event will go live on March 16th and will mark the release of Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 6.

The news about Zero Crisis Finale was announced in a blog post where Epic Games shared some intriguing details. According to the development team, Season 5 will come to an end with an epic solo quest featuring the conclusion of Agent Jones’ mission.

The description reads:

“Chapter 2 Season 6 launches on March 16 with the explosive conclusion of the events of Season 5. When you first launch into the new Season, you’ll play through the conclusion of Agent Jones’ mission in the Zero Crisis Finale. The aftermath of this event is sure to shape Reality as we know it.

Don’t worry, the Zero Crisis Finale is a solo experience and you can play through it whenever you first log in during the Season. Want to watch it online first? We’ll share details soon on how you can watch the global premiere with everyone, beginning with our most ambitious story cinematic yet!

With the fate of Reality at stake, here are a few tips before the end of Season 5 and we’ll see you on the other side.”

The end of a current season means that there’s little time to snag Chapter 2 Season 5 battle pass goodies. Epic Games said that it’s dropping the price of exotic weapons across the island, so if you had your eye on something you wanted to spend your Gold Bars on, now it’s your chance. We recommend not saving anything since Bars earned in Season 5 will disappear as soon as Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 launches.

It will be interesting to see if Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 debut will accumulate the usual numbers of players and viewers on Twitch since it will be the first time since the release of the game that doesn’t require players to be online for the show. Many Fortnite fans were crying out for this change, wanting to be able to enjoy these world-changing events, so Epic Games listened!
