FIFA series fans who love to play online know what we’re talking about. One of the most annoying bugs in FIFA games including FIFA 19 was unresponsiveness because of lag from opponent side. The latest game update is designed to directly tackle the problem.

According to the blog post by Electronic Arts, the company has been investigating this issue for quite some time. A dedicated group within the development team addressed community concerns in the latest game update improving the online experience in certain game modes. These fixes apply to FUT Champions, FUT Division Rivals, FUT Online Draft, FIFA Pro Clubs and FIFA Co-Op Seasons.

EA wrote that moving forward, gameplay responsiveness should rely on each player’s individual connection, and not those they are playing with or against.

“The result should be a much more consistent experience in gameplay responsiveness online, depending on the networking set-up you have.”

Since launch in September FIFA 19 had its fair share of problems, but the development team continues to release weekly updates fixing the majority of bugs. It’s nice to see the dedication even months after the initial game launch.
