Over a month ago, Sony has announced about their plans to skip their first E3 press conference. Seems like they were not the only ones. Yesterday, Electronic Arts revealed the dates for EA Play fanfest confirming that this year EA won’t host an official press conference as well.

The official press release details that the EA Play will begin on Friday, June 7 with an opening event, while the fanfest will be held for the two following days allowing the guests of the show to check out the company games. The press release also mentions multiple live streams during the days of E3. These streams will reveal more gameplay and insights from the teams making the games.

The decision not to host a separate press conference might indicate that EA isn’t prepared to reveal a lot of big titles yet. Of course, it would be dumb to expect EA to skip the E3 2019 entirely. Some of the publisher games might be shown in other conferences. We’ve already speculated about the kind of games Microsoft will bring to E3, so EA might do their part in the Xbox conference. At the very least we might expect the annual EA Sports reveals.

E3 2019 will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from Tuesday, June 11, 2019, until Thursday, June 13, 2019.
