With February 26th quickly approaching, Codemasters shed some light about their upcoming game. There was a considerable lack of detail about the future content of DiRT Rally 2.0. Codemasters said that their plan is to release new content for the game for at least two seasons, but no specific details about it were mentioned.

In recent Tweet developers announced that few months after the launch DiRT Rally 2.0 will get the virtual reality treatment, allowing the players to get into the fully immersive VR experience. According to a post, DiRT Rally 2.0 will be playable on Oculus Rift this summer.

However, Codemasters also confirmed that VR version of DiRT Rally 2.0 will only be available for the PC players. While the game itself will be released on multiple platforms, other VR devices such as PlayStation VR won’t be supporting the title.

DiRT Rally 2.0 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One simultaneously on the 26th of February.
