The world of cubes has never looked so glorious. While the game hasn’t been famous for its high-resolution graphics that take your breath away, now it finally might. Microsoft released a new Minecraft game update for Windows 10 and enabled Ray Tracing.

Take a look:

If you own a PC with any RTX capable video card, you can make your Minecraft look like this with a switch of a button, However, you should note that if you play Minecraft on your phone or console, you won’t be getting this glorious update… Well maybe in some far off future during the next generation of consoles.

Another noteworthy thing is how demanding Ray Tracing is in a game like Minecraft. If you have this option enabled you might experience a dramatically lower framerates on most PCs, however, if you have a real beast running under your table the game should still be playable.

In any case, this update is free, so if you want, you can try it yourself. And if you need a Minecraft copy for less, check out our offer below.
