MP9 | Stained Glass

MP9 | Stained Glass is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist SMG, featuring a blue-and-red stained-glass mosaic. Dark outlines divide the colored panels across the receiver and grips, while the magazine and stock remain dark gray. Its busy design suits players who prefer detailed patterns over plain finishes. All exterior grades are available, including Souvenir copies.

Description

MP9 | Stained Glass applies an Anodized Multicolored finish to the Counter-Terrorist MP9, giving the SMG a dense, glass-inspired design. The weapon itself is a Swiss-manufactured, ergonomic polymer model associated with private security use. Deep blue, lighter blue and cyan shapes cover the painted areas, interrupted by scattered red patches. The dark muzzle, magazine and extended stock provide a quieter frame around the colorful body. This combination suits a blue-focused loadout while retaining contrasting red details for players who want more than a single-color finish. Its full selection of exterior grades lets buyers choose cosmetic condition without changing the underlying design theme. Professional owners include freakazoid, jL and yuurih, providing documented examples of the skin appearing in player inventories. Before choosing a copy, buyers can compare the exterior, exact float value and regular or Souvenir version alongside the item image.

History and Origin

MP9 | Stained Glass was released on November 18, 2019. It arrived with The Canals Collection as part of the Operation Shattered Web update. Valve created the skin rather than a community designer, giving it an official design origin. Its in-game flavor text is "You break it, you buy it". Its flavor text adds a shopkeeper-style joke about paying for glass after breaking it. Today, players can purchase listed copies on the Steam Community Market or acquire them through trades with other players. Trade Up Contracts also offer a random route to the finish through eligible Canals Collection inputs. Current version choices include regular and Souvenir copies.

Finish Style

The Stained Glass finish uses the Anodized Multicolored style to create a paneled, glass-like appearance across the MP9. Deep blue forms the main color impression, with lighter blue and cyan pieces adding variation within the mosaic. Dark outlines separate the irregular angular shapes, making the painted areas look densely assembled rather than smoothly blended. Red patches interrupt the blue palette, particularly around the forward grip and the middle of the receiver. The receiver, forward grip and pistol grip carry the decorative treatment, concentrating the detail around the weapon's body. By contrast, the muzzle, long magazine and extended stock remain dark gray instead of continuing the colorful pattern. Visible metallic highlights give these plain components their own definition without competing with the colored panels. The resulting visual character is busy and geometric, with a clear contrast between the decorated surfaces and unpainted hardware.

Float Value

MP9 | Stained Glass has an exact float range of 0.00 to 0.50, which identifies the available span of cosmetic condition. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior grades are missing. Regular and Souvenir versions are available; version availability should be checked separately from the exterior and float of a particular copy.

Rarity and Popularity

MP9 | Stained Glass is a Restricted SMG skin from The Canals Collection, with rarity classified separately from its exterior condition. Its Canals Collection acquisition chance is 0.21%, about 1 in 469 outcomes, and should not be treated as the odds for a Trade Up Contract. Documented professional owners include freakazoid, jL and yuurih, although ownership alone does not establish current trading demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Blue glass-like panels with contrasting red accents

• Detailed receiver and grips framed by dark hardware

• All exterior grades offer different condition choices

• Souvenir availability adds another collecting option

Price Range

The live MP9 | Stained Glass CS2 skin price range is $69.62 to $6,000.00. This range covers the item across all exteriors and versions. Compare Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred listings using their actual float values, not just their exterior labels. Regular and Souvenir copies should also be compared separately, with the selected item's condition and current asking price checked before a purchase.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Canals Collection to produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. MP9 | Stained Glass is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins. This route cannot select the finish in advance, unlike purchasing a specific listed copy.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Players can buy MP9 | Stained Glass directly from listings on the Steam Community Market. Check the exterior and whether the listing is for a regular or Souvenir copy, then inspect the specific item where possible. A direct purchase targets the listed skin rather than a random collection outcome.

4. Trade with Other Players

MP9 | Stained Glass can also be acquired by trading with other players. Compare the offered copy's exterior, float and regular or Souvenir status before agreeing to an exchange. The trade should be assessed against the actual item being offered, rather than the skin name alone.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Professional ownership gives this finish documented visibility, but its total circulating supply and current resale demand are not established. That uncertainty limits a confident short-term trading case and leaves future price movement unclear. Buyers and sellers should compare matching exteriors and versions before deciding whether to buy, sell or trade a particular copy.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive blue-and-red stained-glass design

• Documented ownership by professional players

• The Canals Collection identity

• Souvenir copies broaden collecting options

• Restricted rarity adds a collecting consideration

MP9 | Stained Glass receives a medium investment rating, supported by its distinctive design, collection identity and documented professional ownership. These features offer reasons to collect it, but they do not establish future price growth. The main risk is uncertain supply and resale demand, particularly when buying a specific exterior or Souvenir copy for investment rather than play.
