About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality, or exterior, describes a copy's cosmetic condition through its float value, not its rarity. MP9 | Nexus spans 0.00 to 1.00 and comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is a skin's classification and helps describe its case-opening likelihood. MP9 | Nexus is Mil-Spec Grade, with an 11.42% chance from the Fever Case.

How much does MP9 | Nexus cost?

MP9 | Nexus ranges from $0.02 to $2.60. The bounds cover the whole skin, so compare individual exteriors, floats, and versions.

What case contains MP9 | Nexus?

MP9 | Nexus is found in the Fever Case and belongs to The Fever Collection. As of October 9, 2026, the case was available through the Armory pass, not weekly drops.

Does MP9 | Nexus have StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions?

Yes, MP9 | Nexus has both StatTrak and Souvenir versions alongside regular copies. Check the version separately from the exterior and float when comparing listings.

What is the float range of MP9 | Nexus?

MP9 | Nexus has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred.

Short Description

MP9 | Nexus is a Counter-Terrorist SMG skin in CS2 with a silver, black, and blue Gunsmith finish. Angular detailing covers the receiver, while bright blue accents provide contrast against the darker parts. Its restrained appearance suits players who prefer metallic finishes without a loud color scheme. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MP9 | Nexus brings geometric detailing to the Counter-Terrorist MP9, pairing a subdued metallic body with concentrated blue highlights in CS2. The weapon itself is a Swiss-manufactured polymer SMG with an ergonomic design associated with private security use. Nexus gives that platform a silver-and-black finish rather than covering every surface in bright color. Fine overlapping shapes across the receiver provide detail without overwhelming the weapon's outline. The magazine and stock carry additional accents, extending the design beyond the main side panels. This look suits a restrained loadout built around dark surfaces and metallic highlights. Buyers can choose among all exterior grades and compare regular, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings. Individual listing images help show the finish's details, while the exterior and float identify the copy's condition.

History and Origin

MP9 | Nexus was released on March 31, 2025. It debuted with the Fever Case during the Spring 2025 Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer SerQ created the finish. The skin belongs to The Fever Collection, giving collectors a specific collection identity to track alongside the weapon and finish. As of October 9, 2026, the Fever Case was available through the Armory pass. It was not part of the weekly drop pool at that date, a distinction relevant to assessing case supply. Opening the Fever Case remains an acquisition route, although a case opening does not guarantee Nexus. Existing copies can also be bought on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player-to-player trades, separately from opening a case.

Finish Style

Nexus uses the Gunsmith finish style with a palette centered on silver, black, and blue. The receiver combines dark silver and black surfaces with fine angular designs overlapping across its side panels. A bright blue band wraps around the front of the receiver, creating a clear break in the darker bodywork. A matching blue accent sits above the foregrip and connects that area visually to the receiver. The muzzle and grips remain mostly dark gray, with ribbed surfaces and small white markings adding detail. Bright silver edges frame the magazine's dark geometric decoration, while a copper-colored strip runs down one side. The thin stock carries subdued angular patterns and a bright silver patch near its rear. Most of the visual contrast comes from the blue accents and reflective silver sections. Together, these details give the finish a personal but understated character rather than a uniformly bright appearance.

Float Value

MP9 | Nexus has a float value range of 0.00 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior grade is excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but version choice remains separate from the cosmetic condition represented by the exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

MP9 | Nexus is a Mil-Spec Grade skin in The Fever Collection. Its Fever Case opening chance is 11.42%, or about 1 in 9 openings, without guaranteeing a result from any individual case. Professional players device, kennyS, and olofmeister are known owners, providing a documented ownership connection rather than a measure of market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright blue accents against restrained silver and black

• Fine geometric details across the receiver, magazine, and stock

• All exterior grades available for different condition preferences

• Regular, StatTrak, and Souvenir version choices

Price Range

The live MP9 | Nexus price range is $0.02 to $2.60. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than any fixed exterior or version. Its low-cost market positioning makes condition and version useful comparison points when choosing a listing. Compare the exact float, exterior, and asking price rather than treating every copy within an exterior as interchangeable. Check whether a listing is regular, StatTrak, or Souvenir before deciding which CS2 skin price offers the best fit for the intended purchase.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Fever Case

Open the Fever Case for a chance to receive MP9 | Nexus, with an 11.42% chance. As of October 9, 2026, the case was available through the Armory pass rather than weekly drops, and opening it does not guarantee this skin.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MP9 | Nexus can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a case result. Check the selected exterior, float, and version before purchasing, especially when comparing listings that share the same finish name.

4. Trade with Other Players

MP9 | Nexus can also be acquired through trades with other players. Confirm the offered copy's exterior, float, and version, then compare relevant listings before agreeing to the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Fever Case's Armory pass availability means Nexus should not be treated as a skin backed by a closed case-supply route. Its low-cost positioning and Mil-Spec Grade opening odds favor a practical loadout purchase over a scarcity-led investment argument. Before a buy, sell, or trade decision, compare matching versions and floats; professional ownership alone does not establish sustained demand.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinct metallic finish with recognizable blue accents

• Documented ownership by device, kennyS, and olofmeister

• Exterior choices covering the full float range

• StatTrak and Souvenir options alongside regular copies

The investment outlook is medium-to-poor, reflecting low-cost positioning and an accessible case route rather than verified scarcity. The design, version choices, and professional ownership provide reasons to consider it as a playing skin. Continued case availability is the main supply risk, while future demand and price growth remain uncertain.
