Short Description

MP9 | Mount Fuji is a CS2 SMG skin featuring a pastel landscape of Mount Fuji at dawn. A red sun, blue mountain, and bird silhouettes contrast with mostly dark gray hardware. The artwork suits pastel loadouts and players who prefer scenic weapon finishes. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MP9 | Mount Fuji brings landscape artwork to the Counter-Terrorist MP9, replacing much of its plain appearance with a colorful dawn scene. The receiver combines pale pink, aqua, and blue around the mountain and sun. Darker hardware frames the painted body without carrying the same detailed illustration. Its scenic design suits players choosing a pastel color scheme or an illustrated finish for their SMG. The painting functions as a pattern, so its arrangement can differ between individual copies. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions give buyers separate options beyond cosmetic condition. Documented owners include professional players coldzera, s1mple, and NiKo. Buyers can compare the exterior, exact float, version, and visible artwork rather than treating every listing as identical.

History and Origin

MP9 | Mount Fuji was released on September 21, 2021, during the Operation Riptide update. It arrived with the Operation Riptide Case, which remains its case-opening source. Steam Workshop community designer Khan created the finish. The skin belongs to The Operation Riptide Collection, which also provides its eligible trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Operation Riptide Case no longer drops, so no new cases enter circulation through drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Today, direct skin purchases, player trades, and eligible Trade Up Contracts offer alternatives to opening the case.

Finish Style

The finish uses the Anodized Airbrushed style to present an acrylic-painted interpretation of Mount Fuji at dawn. Pale pink, aqua, and blue form the receiver's soft pastel backdrop. Thin horizontal bands cross its ribbed surfaces, keeping the weapon's contours visible beneath the scene. A blue mountain with a pale summit sits near the center of the artwork. Beside it, a large red sun and small dark bird silhouettes provide contrasting shapes. Deep blue makes the lower body noticeably darker than the receiver above it. The vertical foregrip and pistol grip transition through pink and purple, crossed by dark branching lines. The barrel, long magazine, and skeletal stock remain mostly dark gray, contrasting with the detailed receiver and grips. Because the painting is applied as a pattern, listing images help buyers check the arrangement on a particular copy.

Float Value

The MP9 | Mount Fuji float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.55. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, covering every standard exterior category. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but these version choices are separate from the float and exterior describing cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

MP9 | Mount Fuji has Restricted rarity, a classification separate from its exterior condition or version. Its chance of appearing from an Operation Riptide Case opening is 3.2%, so opening a case does not reliably target this finish. Eligible Trade Up Contracts offer another acquisition route, meaning case openings are not its only source.

Why it’s Popular:

• Pastel Mount Fuji artwork with a contrasting red sun

• Detailed receiver and grips framed by dark hardware

• Pattern variation gives individual copies different artwork placement

• All exterior grades, plus StatTrak and Souvenir options

Price Range

The live MP9 | Mount Fuji price range is $4.12 to $36.61. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Exterior and version affect asking prices, so standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings should be checked individually. Exact float and visible pattern provide additional comparison details without establishing an automatic premium. Before buying, selling, or trading this CS2 skin, compare current listings for copies matching the desired condition and version.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Riptide Case

Existing Operation Riptide Cases can be bought on the market and opened for a chance at this skin. The case no longer drops, but existing copies remain usable. The skin's 3.2% opening chance means this route cannot guarantee Mount Fuji.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Operation Riptide Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Mount Fuji is a possible result, selected randomly among the collection's Restricted skins. Eligible inputs therefore provide a chance, not a guaranteed copy.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MP9 | Mount Fuji can be purchased on the Steam Community Market without opening a case or completing a contract. Buyers should compare the listed exterior and version, then check the individual copy's condition and appearance.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers a way to exchange other items for this skin. Players should agree on the exact copy, including its exterior, version, float, and visible pattern, before accepting the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement limits the case route to existing Operation Riptide Cases, but openings and trade-ups can still add skin copies. Professional ownership provides visibility without proving current buying demand or resale speed. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings should be compared separately, with attention to exterior, float, and the specific artwork shown.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case with no new drops

• Documented ownership by coldzera, s1mple, and NiKo

• Distinctive Mount Fuji landscape artwork

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions broaden collector choices

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by retired case supply, documented professional ownership, and a relatively accessible price level. Trade-ups and existing case openings can still introduce copies, so case retirement does not make skin supply fixed. Future demand and price gains remain uncertain, making resale performance the main risk.
