MP9 | Rose Iron

MP9 | Rose Iron is a CS2 SMG skin featuring metallic floral artwork on a dark charcoal base. A deep red rose and gold-orange thorn vines give the compact weapon a distinctive appearance. The restrained background suits players who prefer red accents rather than an entirely bright finish. Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested copies are available, including StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MP9 | Rose Iron adds a floral metallic finish to the Counter-Terrorist MP9 SMG in CS2. The Swiss-manufactured weapon has ergonomic polymer construction, providing a compact platform for the decorative artwork. Rose Iron uses the Anodized Multicolored finish style, with its motif hand-painted using differently colored metallic paints. Dark charcoal surrounds a red rose and gold-orange thorn vines across the receiver. Comparatively plain surrounding components keep attention on the decorated body and front grip. The palette suits players who want red details without covering the entire weapon in bright color. Xyp9x, tarik and mixwell are among the professional players who own this skin. Buyers can compare standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions, then inspect the exterior and float of a specific copy.

History and Origin

MP9 | Rose Iron arrived in CS:GO on December 18, 2013, with the Winter Offensive update. Jason created the finish as a Steam Workshop community designer. It belongs to The Winter Offensive Collection, connecting its origins to that release's weapon finishes. The skin was introduced through the Winter Offensive Weapon Case, which remains an acquisition route using existing cases. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops for this case. Collection-based Trade Up Contracts offer another route, with Rose Iron among the possible Restricted results. Current marketplace listings let buyers select an existing copy rather than rely on a random outcome. Player-to-player trades also provide a way to acquire the finish outside case openings and contracts.

Finish Style

The Anodized Multicolored finish combines a predominantly charcoal receiver with metallic floral details. Gold-orange thorn vines stretch across its sides and trace portions of its edges. A large deep red rose, bordered in gold, occupies the rear area of the receiver. Smaller red marks appear farther forward, extending the color beyond the main flower. The front grip carries red accents and a gold-orange vine near its lower edge. Small red details also appear on the main grip without covering its entire surface. The magazine, muzzle and extended skeletal stock remain mostly dark gray, with brighter metallic highlights along some edges. Concentrating the artwork on the body and front grip gives the decorative elements a clear visual focus.

Float Value

The float value range is 0.00 to 0.30, with Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested exteriors available. MP9 | Rose Iron does not come in Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred condition. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but version availability is separate from the exterior condition of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

MP9 | Rose Iron has the Restricted rarity grade. Its chance from the Winter Offensive Weapon Case is 4.0%, or about 1 in 25 drops. Ownership by Xyp9x, tarik and mixwell gives it professional-player visibility, without establishing current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Deep red rose artwork against a restrained charcoal background

• Metallic gold-orange thorns give the receiver a distinctive outline

• Decorated body contrasts with mostly plain surrounding components

• StatTrak and Souvenir options offer different collecting choices

Price Range

The live MP9 | Rose Iron CS2 skin price range is $5.34 to $30.74. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed price for a particular exterior or version. Compare Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested listings, keeping standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies separate. Exact float and version are useful checks when deciding which listings to buy, sell or trade against.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Winter Offensive Weapon Case

Opening the Winter Offensive Weapon Case offers a 4.0% chance of receiving MP9 | Rose Iron, not a guaranteed result. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract uses 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Winter Offensive Collection to produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Rose Iron is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MP9 | Rose Iron can be purchased directly on the Steam Community Market through an existing listing. Compare the exterior, float and version before buying, since selecting a listed copy avoids a random case or contract result.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another way to acquire an existing copy of this MP9 finish. Both sides should confirm the item's exterior, float and version before agreeing, rather than treating every Rose Iron copy as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

No new Winter Offensive Weapon Cases drop, but existing cases and Trade Up Contracts can still produce Rose Iron copies. Professional ownership provides visibility, not proof of current buying demand or a sustained price trend. Trading comparisons should separate exterior, exact float and version rather than rely on the skin name alone.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply receives no new drops

• Ownership by Xyp9x, tarik and mixwell

• Distinctive metallic rose and thorn artwork

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden collecting choices

The investment outlook is medium-to-good, based on retired case supply and ownership by named professional players. Those factors support a cautious holding case, not a reliable short-term flip. Existing cases and Trade Up Contracts can still produce skins, while current demand remains uncertain.
