MP9 | Sand Dashed

MP9 | Sand Dashed is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist SMG, featuring a subdued sandy camouflage finish. Tan and olive-brown surfaces carry short, overlapping stencil marks rather than prominent artwork. The look suits players who prefer muted colors and an understated weapon design. All exterior grades are available, with standard and Souvenir copies but no StatTrak™ version.

Description

MP9 | Sand Dashed applies a Spray-Paint finish to the Counter-Terrorist MP9 in CS2. Its sandy palette extends across the receiver, grips, magazine, barrel, and folding stock, giving the weapon a consistent visual identity. Angular dash shapes interrupt the tan base with muted olive-brown patches. The absence of prominent lettering or artwork keeps attention on the camouflage pattern and the weapon's outline. That restrained approach suits players building an earth-toned loadout or choosing an unobtrusive SMG skin. The underlying MP9 is a Swiss-manufactured polymer weapon associated with private security use. Professional players flusha, fnx, and Pimp own copies, although ownership alone does not establish broader market demand. Buyers can compare exterior condition, exact float value, and standard versus Souvenir status when selecting a listing.

History and Origin

MP9 | Sand Dashed debuted on November 27, 2013, as part of the DreamHack 2013 update. It arrived with The Dust 2 Collection, which remains its collection identity. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The skin is associated with 13 Souvenir Packages, giving its Souvenir version several package-based acquisition sources. The DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package is among the supported examples. The EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package is another named source for the finish. Opening a compatible Souvenir Package is distinct from buying a standard copy, because the package route provides the Souvenir version. Today, players can also obtain existing copies through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players.

Finish Style

The Spray-Paint finish uses short pieces of tape as stencils, producing broken angular marks across the weapon. Sandy tan covers most of the receiver, front grip, pistol grip, and magazine, establishing the main color of the design. Muted olive-brown patches overlap that base instead of forming a single large illustration. The short dash shapes cross one another, creating a mottled pattern throughout the coated surfaces. The barrel and folding stock continue the subdued palette, keeping these parts visually connected to the main body. Darker brown follows the stock's thin upper bars and gives them a more defined outline. Dark shading also picks out the receiver grooves, grip ribs, trigger, and barrel opening. With no prominent artwork or lettering, the finish relies on its stencil texture and restrained color contrast for character.

Float Value

MP9 | Sand Dashed has a float value range of 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior grade is excluded. Souvenir versions are available; this version distinction is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

MP9 | Sand Dashed belongs to the Consumer Grade rarity tier. Its stated acquisition chance within The Dust 2 Collection is 13.34%. Standard and Souvenir copies are available, and verified professional owners include flusha, fnx, and Pimp.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted tan and olive-brown colors suit understated loadouts

• Broken stencil marks give the finish a distinct texture

• Every exterior grade offers another condition option

• Souvenir availability adds a separate collecting choice

Price Range

The live MP9 | Sand Dashed CS2 skin price range is $0.01 to $33.66. These bounds cover the whole item, not a fixed exterior or version. Regular copies occupy a budget price bracket, but individual listings still need comparison. Buyers should check the exterior and exact float rather than assuming every copy in a condition category is interchangeable. Souvenir listings should also be identified separately, allowing shoppers to compare version, condition, and asking price before they buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

MP9 | Sand Dashed can be obtained by opening one of its 13 compatible Souvenir Packages. Examples include the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. An opening does not guarantee this specific skin, so direct purchase avoids relying on a random result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Players can buy MP9 | Sand Dashed through the Steam Community Market. Compare the listing's exterior and inspect its float value before choosing a copy. Check whether the item is standard or Souvenir, since version status and cosmetic condition describe different attributes.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the skin by trading with other players for an existing copy. Before accepting, verify the exact item, exterior, float value, and whether the offered copy is standard or Souvenir.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Supply direction and sustained buyer demand remain uncertain, so quick resale or rising prices should not be assumed. Compare standard and Souvenir copies separately, then check exterior and float value within each version before deciding to buy, sell, or trade. Professional ownership adds context, but it does not establish how quickly a listing will sell.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Souvenir editions provide a distinct collecting option

• Association with The Dust 2 Collection

• Accessible entry cost for regular copies

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor. Its inexpensive regular copies and Consumer Grade rarity provide limited support for an investment case, despite professional ownership and Souvenir availability. The main risk is uncertain future demand and supply, with no established price trend to justify expecting gains.
