About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes exterior condition and is linked to float value. MP9 | Dart ranges from 0.00 to 0.46; inspect the actual copy rather than relying on its exterior label alone.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's grade, while case-opening odds describe its chance of appearing. MP9 | Dart is Mil-Spec Grade and has a 15.98% chance from the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case.

How much does MP9 | Dart cost?

MP9 | Dart ranges from $0.48 to $40.00. These bounds cover the whole skin; compare exterior, float, and version in individual listings.

Which exteriors are available for MP9 | Dart?

MP9 | Dart is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.00 to 0.46.

Which case contains MP9 | Dart?

MP9 | Dart comes from the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case. The case no longer drops, but existing copies can still be bought on the market and opened.

Does MP9 | Dart have StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions?

MP9 | Dart has both StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions, alongside regular copies. Check the version separately from the exterior and float when comparing listings.

Short Description

MP9 | Dart is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist MP9 SMG, featuring pale gray chevrons over a charcoal receiver. Mostly plain dark fittings keep the striped body as the focal point. Its restrained look suits players who prefer muted weapon colors. All exteriors are available, alongside regular, StatTrak™, and Souvenir versions.

Description

MP9 | Dart gives the Counter-Terrorist SMG a subdued appearance built around angular stripes rather than bright colors. The MP9 is a Swiss-made polymer weapon with an ergonomic design, providing a practical-looking backdrop for the finish. Its Custom Paint Job concentrates the chevron pattern on the receiver and upper body. Plain dark fittings provide contrast without introducing another dominant color. This approach suits players who want visible detailing while keeping their equipment's overall palette restrained. Regular, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions offer different ownership options while retaining the Dart design. Professional players mixwell, ScreaM, and Xizt have owned the skin, although ownership alone does not establish current trading demand. Buyers can compare exterior, float value, version, and the actual item's appearance before choosing a copy.

History and Origin

MP9 | Dart was released on November 11, 2014, alongside the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case. Its introduction formed part of the Operation Vanguard update. Valve created the skin rather than a community designer. It belongs to The Vanguard Collection, connecting its collection identity with its original case release. Valve retired the rare case drop pool on December 17, 2025. The Operation Vanguard Weapon Case no longer drops, so case availability now depends on existing copies. Those remaining cases can still be bought on the market and opened for a chance at the finish. The skin itself can also be purchased directly through marketplaces or acquired through player-to-player trades.

Finish Style

Dart is classified as a Custom Paint Job, with its visual design built around a striped hydrographic. Thin pale gray lines form repeating chevrons across the dark charcoal receiver. The pattern extends over the side and upper body, keeping the angular markings prominent in the inventory view. A fine mottled texture adds detail beneath the stripes without changing the restrained palette. The muzzle, foregrip, pistol grip, and skeletal stock remain mostly plain dark gray. Lighter highlights pick out edges and ridges on those fittings. The long magazine is nearly black, with a lighter vertical strip along its left edge. Together, these details create a clear contrast between the patterned receiver and the largely unpatterned surrounding parts.

Float Value

MP9 | Dart has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.46. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with none of these exterior categories missing. Regular, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions are supported; version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition described by exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

MP9 | Dart has Mil-Spec Grade rarity in the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case. Its chance from opening that case is 15.98%, which describes the opening outcome rather than the availability of cases themselves. Existing cases remain openable, so the end of new case drops does not prevent additional Dart skins from being obtained through openings.

Why it’s Popular:

• Pale chevrons give the dark receiver a distinct focal point

• Muted colors suit restrained equipment palettes

• Every exterior offers a different condition choice

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions broaden collecting options

Price Range

The live MP9 | Dart CS2 skin price range is $0.48 to $40.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred listings, then check the individual float value for more precise condition information. Regular, StatTrak, and Souvenir copies should be identified separately rather than treated as interchangeable purchases. When deciding to buy, sell, or trade, compare matching item details and current listings instead of assuming an exterior label determines the price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case

Opening an Operation Vanguard Weapon Case gives a 15.98% chance of receiving MP9 | Dart. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed MP9 | Dart on the Steam Community Market to select a specific item rather than a random case result. Compare its exterior, float value, and version before choosing a listing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player for a specific Dart skin instead of relying on a case opening. Check the exact exterior, float value, and whether the offered item is regular, StatTrak, or Souvenir before agreeing.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement limits the supply of new Operation Vanguard Weapon Cases, but opening existing cases can still add Dart skins to circulation. Professional ownership provides some visibility, not proof of sustained resale demand. For practical comparisons, separate versions and exteriors, then check floats and current asking prices; future demand remains uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source of new cases

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive chevrons and a restrained palette

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

MP9 | Dart receives a medium investment rating, supported by its retired case source, accessible price level, and documented professional ownership. Those factors provide reasons to consider holding it, but they do not establish dependable resale demand. The main risk is uncertain buyer interest while existing cases can still produce additional skins.
