MP7 | Whiteout

MP7 | Whiteout is a CS2 SMG skin with a predominantly white Solid Color finish. Dark openings, seams, and rail details contrast with its plain surfaces, leaving the weapon's shape as the main visual feature. The look suits players who prefer restrained styling without artwork or decorative patterns. It comes in all listed exterior categories, with standard and Souvenir versions available but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

MP7 | Whiteout is a CS2 skin for the German-made MP7, an SMG designed for close-range combat. Its Whiteout finish gives the weapon a simple visual identity built around white paint rather than an illustrated theme. The main body, grips, stock, and magazine share that pale appearance, while dark recessed details interrupt the otherwise uniform surface. Ridges and panel lines provide visual interest without lettering or decorative graphics. The finish suits players building a white-themed loadout or choosing an understated SMG. Standard and Souvenir copies offer different version options, although neither provides a StatTrak counter. Buyers can consider every available exterior when choosing a copy, rather than treating the skin name alone as a complete description. For a purchase or trade, the useful listing checks are the exterior, exact float value, version, and asking price.

History and Origin

MP7 | Whiteout was released on August 14, 2013, alongside The Office Collection. It arrived through the Arms Deal update, which marks its original introduction rather than its current marketplace availability. Valve created the finish, so its origin is not attributed to a community designer. Today, buyers can choose an existing copy through Steam Community Market listings instead of relying on a random contract result. A trade-up contract can use 10 Industrial Grade skins from The Office Collection to produce 1 Mil-Spec Grade skin from that collection. Whiteout is a possible result, but the contract selects randomly among the collection's Mil-Spec Grade skins. Player-to-player trading provides another route to an existing copy, with its exterior, float, and version worth checking before accepting an exchange.

Finish Style

Whiteout uses the Solid Color finish style, giving the MP7 a largely uniform coat of white paint. The receiver and stock carry broad white surfaces that establish the overall palette. White also extends across the vertical foregrip, pistol grip, and long magazine, keeping those separate components visually connected. The barrel and muzzle appear pale, although their openings retain dark contrast. Dark accents remain along the top rail and around the trigger area. Small slots, seams, and recessed details break up the white without becoming a decorative pattern. There is no visible artwork or lettering on the painted surfaces, so the design avoids a graphic centerpiece. Instead, the weapon's ridges and panel lines provide most of the detail, creating a clean appearance based on its underlying shape.

Float Value

MP7 | Whiteout has a float value range of 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of these exterior categories is excluded. Standard and Souvenir versions are available, but there is no StatTrak version; version availability is separate from a copy's exterior and float value.

Rarity and Popularity

MP7 | Whiteout belongs to the Mil-Spec Grade rarity tier within The Office Collection. Its stated Office Collection acquisition chance is 1.61%, which should not be treated as a success rate for trade-up contracts. Professional players s1mple, chrisJ, and wayLander have owned the skin, but their ownership does not establish broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Plain white surfaces suit restrained loadouts

• Dark details keep the weapon's shape visually defined

• No artwork or lettering competes with the underlying design

• Standard and Souvenir versions provide different collecting options

Price Range

The live MP7 | Whiteout price range is $25.52 to $1,699.90. These bounds cover the whole skin and should not be read as prices for particular exteriors or versions. Exterior can affect the asking price, so compare listings within the same condition before judging value. Standard and Souvenir copies also deserve separate comparisons, with the exact float value checked on each item. Use the overall CS2 skin price range as a starting point, then inspect the specific listing before deciding to buy, sell, or trade.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Industrial Grade skins from The Office Collection to produce 1 Mil-Spec Grade skin from that collection. MP7 | Whiteout is a possible outcome, but the result is random among the collection's Mil-Spec Grade skins. The contract therefore offers a chance at this finish rather than a way to select it directly.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MP7 | Whiteout can be bought directly through the Steam Community Market by choosing an available listing. Check the exterior and whether the item is a standard or Souvenir copy before purchasing. Direct selection avoids the random outcome of a trade-up contract, but the chosen listing still determines the exact item received.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain MP7 | Whiteout through a player-to-player exchange using items they already own. Compare the offered copy's float value, exterior, and version before accepting the trade. The skin name alone does not distinguish a particular copy's condition or establish whether the exchange represents fair value.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Market listings cover several exteriors, while standard and Souvenir versions give traders separate options to compare. Professional ownership adds visibility, but it does not establish sales volume or consistent demand. No reliable price trend or future supply outlook is established here, so short-term momentum and scarcity should not be assumed.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive solid-white finish

• Ownership by s1mple, chrisJ, and wayLander

• Souvenir availability alongside standard copies

• Connection to The Office Collection

MP7 | Whiteout receives a medium investment rating as a cautious editorial assessment with limited market evidence, while professional ownership and its distinctive finish suggest collecting appeal rather than investment strength. Those features offer reasons to hold a preferred copy, but they do not demonstrate sustained price growth. The main risk is uncertain demand and supply over time, so quick resale or future appreciation should not be assumed.
