Short Description

MP7 | Ocean Foam is a CS2 SMG skin with an abstract blue finish over a metallic base. Navy and pale blue shapes cover the receiver and pistol grip, contrasting with gray attachments. Its restrained palette suits blue-themed loadouts. Factory New and Minimal Wear exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MP7 | Ocean Foam gives the CS2 SMG a patterned metallic finish without covering every component in blue. The German-made MP7 is designed for close-range combat, making this a finish for a close-quarters weapon. Its Anodized Multicolored treatment combines transparent blue coloring with a metallic foundation. The receiver and pistol grip carry the detailed pattern, while the surrounding hardware remains mostly gray. This contrast suits players who prefer a decorated weapon body with understated attachments. Exterior choices are limited to Factory New and Minimal Wear, keeping the available condition range narrow. Buyers can compare float value, appearance and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir versions when selecting a listing.

History and Origin

MP7 | Ocean Foam was released in CS:GO on July 10, 2014. It arrived in the eSports 2014 Summer Case through the eSports 2014 Summer Case Skins update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. The skin belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, which also determines its collection-based trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops of its case. Existing eSports 2014 Summer Cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. Trade-up contracts offer another acquisition route using eligible skins from the same collection. Players can also obtain existing copies through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players.

Finish Style

Dark navy and pale blue shapes spread across the receiver and pistol grip. The transparent hydrographic coloring sits over a metallic base coat, giving the blue areas a metallic character. Irregular rounded patches create the foam-like appearance that defines the finish. Winding outlines connect the shapes visually rather than forming a regular geometric pattern. Bright silver-blue highlights appear near the front of the receiver and along the grip edges. The barrel, rails, sights, folding foregrip, magazine and rear stock remain mostly dark gray or muted metallic gray. These plain components frame the busy main body, making the contrast between patterned surfaces and attachments central to the design.

Float Value

MP7 | Ocean Foam has a float range of 0.00 to 0.08. It comes in Factory New and Minimal Wear, with no Field-Tested, Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred exterior. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist; those version labels are separate from the exterior and float value of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

MP7 | Ocean Foam is a Restricted skin in The eSports 2014 Summer Collection. Its chance from the eSports 2014 Summer Case is 3.2%, or about 1 in 31 openings. Documented professional owners include kennyS, TACO and mixwell, although ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Navy and pale blue patterns suit blue-themed loadouts

• Metallic highlights contrast with understated gray attachments

• Factory New and Minimal Wear exterior choices

• Available in StatTrak and Souvenir versions

Price Range

The live MP7 | Ocean Foam price range is $8.10 to $75.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Compare Factory New and Minimal Wear listings by their actual float values and images. Check whether each offer is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir before judging its asking price. A Factory New price alone cannot establish the value of every available version.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the eSports 2014 Summer Case

Open the eSports 2014 Summer Case for a chance to receive Ocean Foam. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened. The skin's opening chance is 3.2%, so this route does not guarantee the desired item.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract uses 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The eSports 2014 Summer Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Ocean Foam is a possible result, not a guaranteed outcome. The result is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy MP7 | Ocean Foam directly through the Steam Community Market by selecting an available listing. Check its exterior, float and version rather than treating all copies as interchangeable.

5. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player to obtain an existing Ocean Foam copy without opening a case. Confirm the item's identity, exterior, float and version before agreeing to the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops limit replenishment of unopened case supply, while trade-up contracts remain another source of the skin. Professional ownership is documented, but current demand and price trends remain uncertain. When buying, selling or arranging a trade, compare the exact exterior, float and version involved.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case drops constrain new case supply

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive blue metallic finish

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired case drops and documented professional ownership. Those factors give it a reasonable holding case without establishing future price growth. The main risk is assuming supply constraints will produce appreciation when broader version pricing and current demand remain uncertain.
