MP7 | Groundwater

MP7 | Groundwater is a CS2 SMG skin with solid olive-green sections and sand-colored accents. Its restrained military palette suits players who prefer simple finishes without decorative artwork. Standard and Souvenir versions are available across Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred exteriors.

Description

MP7 | Groundwater is a CS2 skin for the German-made MP7, an SMG designed for close-range combat. The Groundwater finish uses Solid Color styling, separating the weapon's components into distinct painted sections. Pale olive, darker green and sand-colored accents give the weapon an understated military appearance. Rather than adding illustrations, the design leaves molded grooves, seams and fasteners to provide much of its visual detail. Its Consumer Grade classification and membership in The Alpha Collection identify its rarity and collection origin. The subdued palette suits players building a loadout around practical colors rather than bright graphics. Buyers can choose between standard and Souvenir copies without confusing version labels with exterior condition. When comparing listings, the useful details are the exact float, exterior, version and visible appearance of the individual weapon.

History and Origin

MP7 | Groundwater was released on September 19, 2013, as part of The Alpha Collection. The skin was released with the Operation Bravo update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The skin's original theme connects its olive-drab treatment with Cache as a commemorative setting. Its accompanying flavor text reads "Never take victory for granted". This warning reinforces the finish's commemorative theme. Today, buyers can obtain an existing copy through the Steam Community Market rather than relying on its historical introduction. Player-to-player trading provides another direct route to ownership, including the choice between standard and Souvenir versions.

Finish Style

Groundwater applies a Solid Color finish through separate painted areas rather than a continuous decorative pattern. The receiver and pistol grip use a pale olive green that establishes the main body color. A darker olive-drab treatment distinguishes the magazine and folding front grip from those lighter components. Sand-colored sections highlight the side rail, sight mounts and rear stock plate. The short barrel and top rail appear dark green, adding another shade to the restrained palette. Darker areas around the trigger and small fittings help define the weapon's smaller mechanical details. There is no visible artwork, lettering or decorative pattern competing with the MP7's underlying shape. Molded grooves, seams and fasteners provide the texture, giving the finish a simple appearance grounded in the weapon's construction.

Float Value

MP7 | Groundwater has a float range of 0.06 to 0.80. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of those exterior categories is excluded. Standard and Souvenir versions are available, with version choice kept separate from the float value and cosmetic condition of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

MP7 | Groundwater is a Consumer Grade skin from The Alpha Collection. Its Alpha Collection acquisition chance is 13.35%, a collection probability rather than a measure of marketplace availability. Standard and Souvenir copies share the finish's rarity classification, while their exterior labels describe a separate aspect of the item.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted olive and sand colors suit understated loadouts

• Solid painted sections keep the weapon's shape visible

• Souvenir versions offer an additional ownership option

• All exterior categories allow varied condition choices

Price Range

The live MP7 | Groundwater CS2 skin price range is $2.62 to $1,121.75. These bounds cover the whole skin, not fixed prices for particular exteriors or versions. Compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred listings using the exact float as well as the exterior label. Standard and Souvenir copies are separate purchase options, so neither should automatically be assumed to cost more. Inspect the visible finish and item details before selecting a listing, especially when comparing copies within the same exterior category.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MP7 | Groundwater can be bought on the Steam Community Market by selecting an existing listing. Check the exterior, exact float and whether the copy is standard or Souvenir before comparing its asking price. Matching exterior labels alone should not replace inspecting the individual item.

3. Trade with Other Players

MP7 | Groundwater can also be obtained through a trade with another player. Confirm the offered copy's exterior, float and version before agreeing to the exchange. Compare the offer with relevant listings rather than treating every Groundwater copy as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The modest price level gives Groundwater an accessible entry point, but future supply and resale demand remain uncertain. Its collection history and Souvenir availability do not, by themselves, demonstrate scarcity or a reliable price trend. Before deciding to buy, sell or trade, compare standard and Souvenir copies by exterior, exact float and current asking price.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Valve-created finish with an established collection identity

• Release history connected to Operation Bravo

• Souvenir option adds collectible variety

• Restrained military colors suit understated loadouts

The investment outlook is medium-to-poor, reflecting its modest price level and uncertain scarcity or resale demand. Its Valve origin and Souvenir option provide collectible characteristics, but neither establishes sustained price growth. The main risk is paying for assumed scarcity when future availability and buyer interest remain uncertain.
