History and Origin

MP7 | Neon Ply debuted on November 18, 2019, with the Operation Shattered Web update. The Shattered Web Case introduced its case-opening acquisition route at release. Steam Workshop community designer PTP created the finish. The skin belongs to The Shattered Web Collection, which also defines its collection-based Trade Up Contract route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Shattered Web Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove the opening route. Finished copies remain obtainable through the Steam Community Market and trades with other players. Trade Up Contracts offer another route today, although their random Restricted outcome does not ensure a Neon Ply.

Neon Ply uses a Custom Paint Job built around a laminated, multicolored appearance. The receiver carries irregular layers of grain-like lines in neon yellow, green, cyan, purple, and pink against dark patches.
