MP7 | Orange Peel

The MP7 | Orange Peel is a CS2 SMG skin with an orange, charcoal-gray and muted tan stencil design. Its Spray-Paint finish spreads angular bands across the receiver, grips, magazine and rear stock. The abstract look suits players who want orange accents without lettering or character artwork. Standard and Souvenir versions are available in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

Description

The MP7 | Orange Peel brings a layered, geometric finish to the German-made MP7, an SMG suited to close-range combat in CS2. Orange dominates the receiver, while charcoal-gray and muted tan bands break up the main color. The overlapping design continues across several weapon parts rather than concentrating on a single decorative panel. Sharp-edged patches give the finish a busy appearance without relying on text or recognizable figures. Its palette suits orange-focused loadouts, with darker areas providing contrast around the brighter surfaces. Players who prefer stencil work over illustrated designs have a clear visual reason to consider this finish. Standard and Souvenir copies provide different ownership options. Buyers can compare the exterior, exact float value and weapon preview before choosing a copy to buy, sell or trade.

History and Origin

MP7 | Orange Peel was released on November 27, 2013, in the DreamHack 2013 update. It arrived as part of The Mirage Collection, which remains its collection identity. Valve created the skin rather than a community designer. Alongside its standard version, the finish has a Souvenir version associated with tournament-branded packages. It appears in 15 Souvenir packages, giving collectors a package-based acquisition route. Examples include DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. Today, existing copies can be purchased on the Steam Community Market or exchanged through player-to-player trades. Opening an applicable Souvenir package or completing a collection-based trade-up offers alternative acquisition routes, although neither guarantees this particular finish.

Finish Style

Orange Peel uses the Spray-Paint finish style, with a tangled masking-tape stencil forming its visual structure. Broad charcoal-gray and muted tan bands interrupt the predominantly orange receiver. Their irregular edges create angular sections rather than smooth stripes. The same overlapping treatment extends across the foregrip, pistol grip, magazine and rear stock section. Strips and sharp-edged patches intersect without forming a regular repeating motif. The barrel stays dark but carries orange markings that connect it visually to the body. The top rail, sights and small fittings mix dark gray with orange details. Most surfaces carry the busy stencil treatment, while the absence of visible lettering or character artwork keeps the focus on color and geometry.

Float Value

The MP7 | Orange Peel has a float range of 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Standard and Souvenir versions are available, but there is no StatTrak™ version; these version options are separate from an individual copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The MP7 | Orange Peel has Industrial Grade rarity, whether the copy is standard or Souvenir. Its acquisition chance from The Mirage Collection is 3.21%. Professional players SPUNJ, Spiidi and Mercury own the skin, although that ownership alone does not establish broad market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Orange accents balanced by charcoal-gray and muted tan

• Angular stencil work across the body and attachments

• Abstract design without lettering or character artwork

• Souvenir options for players interested in tournament-package origins

Price Range

The live MP7 | Orange Peel price range is $11.20 to $228.67. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred copies using their exterior, exact float and available weapon previews. Keep standard and Souvenir listings separate when assessing a potential purchase. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the version and exterior before considering the details of an individual listing.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a Souvenir package that includes MP7 | Orange Peel, such as DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package or EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. This route produces a random result rather than allowing the buyer to select the Orange Peel finish directly.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract can use 10 Consumer Grade skins from The Mirage Collection to produce 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. MP7 | Orange Peel is a possible result, not a guaranteed outcome. The result is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy MP7 | Orange Peel on the Steam Community Market to choose an existing copy instead of relying on a random result. Check the exterior and whether the listing is standard or Souvenir before comparing it with other offers.

5. Trade with Other Players

MP7 | Orange Peel can also be obtained through a trade with another player. Confirm the item name, exterior and version, then inspect the float and available preview before accepting the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Short-term resale potential remains uncertain without a clear record of listing volume, transaction activity or price trends. Standard and Souvenir copies should be assessed separately, with exterior and float checked before a trade. A trade-up route exists, so the original release date alone is not evidence of a fixed supply.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Valve-created finish from The Mirage Collection

• Souvenir versions with tournament-package origins

• Owned by SPUNJ, Spiidi and Mercury

• Distinctive orange and charcoal-gray stencil design

The investment rating is medium, supported by collection provenance, Souvenir availability and professional ownership. Industrial Grade rarity and an available trade-up route limit any argument based solely on scarcity. The main risk is buying without established demand or price-history evidence, so future resale gains should not be assumed.
