MP7 | Mischief

MP7 | Mischief is a CS2 SMG skin with a red base and an uneven black-and-white smile. Pointed teeth and rough painted lines give it a mischievous, slightly unsettling appearance. Its expressive artwork suits players who prefer bold weapon finishes with darker details. Minimal Wear through Battle-Scarred exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MP7 | Mischief applies an expressive painted design to the German-made MP7, an SMG intended for close-range combat in CS2. The Custom Paint Job finish uses a red foundation rather than covering every weapon component with equally bright artwork. A jagged white smile stands out against broad black shapes on the receiver. Dark gray and olive-gray fittings frame the painted body, keeping the visual emphasis on the face and magazine. The look suits players who want rough, character-driven artwork rather than a restrained color scheme. Its connection to The Prisma Collection also gives collectors a specific collection identity to follow. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide different ownership options without changing the skin's name. Buyers can compare the version, exterior and individual float value, then inspect the receiver and magazine before choosing a listing.

History and Origin

MP7 | Mischief was released in CS:GO on March 13, 2019, alongside the Prisma Case. Its arrival formed part of the Prisma Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer Estavos created the finish. The skin belongs to The Prisma Collection, linking its collection identity to its original case release. On December 17, 2025, Valve retired the rare drop pool. As of October 9, 2026, the Prisma Case no longer drops, separating its release history from its current supply situation. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so the case remains an acquisition route despite that retirement. The skin itself can also be purchased on the Steam Community Market or obtained through trades with other players.

Finish Style

The Custom Paint Job centers on a red receiver decorated with broad black forms. An uneven white smile cuts across that dark artwork, with pointed teeth giving the face its threatening expression. Thin black lines and scattered white streaks add a rough, busy texture to the sides. The curved magazine continues the red palette with dark vertical stripes. Pale gray patches along the magazine's edges interrupt those stronger colors. The muzzle, top rail and sights remain mostly dark gray or olive-gray rather than carrying the face motif. Similar muted coloring appears on the stock, folding foregrip and pistol grip. Together, those plainer components frame the bold receiver artwork and give the finish a clear contrast between painted surfaces and functional fittings.

Float Value

MP7 | Mischief has an exact float range of 0.10 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no Factory New version. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but version selection should be considered separately from the copy's float value and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

MP7 | Mischief is a Mil-Spec Grade skin in The Prisma Collection. Its stated chance from the Prisma Case is 11.42%, making a case opening a chance-based route rather than a direct purchase. Professional ownership includes tarik, Pimp and pashaBiceps, although those ownership records alone do not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Jagged white smile gives the receiver a distinctive focal point

• Red artwork contrasts clearly with muted grips and fittings

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional collecting options

• Rough painted details suit expressive, darker-themed loadouts

Price Range

The live MP7 | Mischief price range is $0.14 to $52.69. These bounds cover the whole skin and should not be treated as fixed prices for particular variants. Compare Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred listings while checking each copy's exact float value. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should also be distinguished before comparing asking prices. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the desired version and exterior, then inspect the actual copy before deciding to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Prisma Case

An existing Prisma Case can be bought on the market and opened for a chance at MP7 | Mischief. The skin's stated chance is 11.42%, while no new Prisma Cases drop following the case's retirement. This route remains available through existing cases, but it does not guarantee the desired skin.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MP7 | Mischief can be purchased directly through listings on the Steam Community Market. Check the exterior, float value and whether the listing is a standard, StatTrak or Souvenir version before choosing a copy. A direct listing allows buyers to select an existing item instead of relying on a case-opening result.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain MP7 | Mischief by trading with other players who own it. Before agreeing to an exchange, confirm the exact version, exterior and float value of the offered copy. Inspect its painted surfaces as part of the comparison rather than relying on the item name alone.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The end of Prisma Case drops limits new case supply, but openings of existing cases can still add skins to circulation. Mischief's low price level offers an accessible entry point, although sustained demand and listing depth are not established. Players looking to buy, sell or trade should compare matching versions and exteriors rather than assume every copy has the same resale appeal.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Prisma Case source limits new case supply

• Distinctive red receiver and pointed smile artwork

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

• Documented ownership by professional players

MP7 | Mischief receives a medium investment rating, balancing its retired case source, accessible price level and documented professional ownership. Existing case openings can still create additional copies, so case retirement does not make the skin's supply fixed. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, with no established price trend or listing-depth evidence supporting dependable returns.
