MP7 | Tall Grass

MP7 | Tall Grass is a CS2 SMG skin with a green grass hydrographic across the receiver and grips. Bright lime, olive, and darker grass-like streaks give the weapon a busy, plant-inspired appearance. The palette suits green loadouts and players who prefer textured finishes. It is available in every exterior, with standard and Souvenir versions but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

The MP7 | Tall Grass gives the German-made MP7 a vegetation-inspired hydrographic finish for CS2. The weapon is a versatile SMG suited to close-range engagements, while the skin changes its visual presentation. Grass-like streaks cover the receiver and grips, combining bright lime patches with olive and darker green details. Muted surfaces on the stock and magazine keep the pattern from dominating every part of the weapon. Its palette suits players who prefer plant-inspired textures over a plain solid-color finish. Standard and Souvenir copies offer different collecting options without changing the skin's underlying grass theme. KRIMZ, f0rest, and AdreN are among the professional players known to own the skin. Buyers can compare listing images, exterior labels, float values, and version before choosing a copy to equip or trade.

History and Origin

MP7 | Tall Grass arrived on December 3, 2020, with the Operation Broken Fang update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. It belongs to The Ancient Collection, which also determines the collection inputs relevant to its trade-up route. Standard copies can be obtained through eligible contracts that produce an Industrial Grade result from that collection. The Souvenir version is available through 8 Souvenir packages. Examples include Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package, linking that version to distinct package releases. Today, buyers can purchase existing copies through marketplace listings, including the Steam Community Market. Player-to-player trades offer another acquisition route, separate from the skin's original introduction and random package or contract outcomes.

Finish Style

Tall Grass uses a Hydrographic finish built around green foliage shapes rather than a uniform painted surface. The receiver, pistol grip, and vertical foregrip carry the main grass pattern. Bright lime and olive patches sit beneath darker, narrow blades and streaks, creating a layered appearance. The barrel also carries dark green patterned coloring that continues the palette beyond the main body. The side rail, sights, stock, and exposed magazine are mostly muted olive. Small fasteners and recessed details appear dark, giving the mechanical features contrast against the green surfaces. The stock and magazine provide cleaner, solid-color areas beside the busier receiver and grips. This balance gives the MP7 a detailed organic look while preserving visible separation between its individual parts.

Float Value

The MP7 | Tall Grass float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.65. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Standard and Souvenir versions exist; version choice is separate from the copy's float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

MP7 | Tall Grass has Industrial Grade rarity within The Ancient Collection. Its chance from that collection is 4.0%, which should not be assumed to describe an individual trade-up contract's odds. Ownership by KRIMZ, f0rest, and AdreN provides a supported professional connection without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Lime and olive grass patterns suit green loadouts

• Detailed grips and receiver contrast with solid olive parts

• Every exterior is available

• Souvenir versions add another collecting option

Price Range

The live MP7 | Tall Grass price range is $1.03 to $11.91. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a permanently assigned exterior or version. Compare standard and Souvenir listings separately, then check each copy's exterior and exact float value. An inspection image helps establish whether the particular copy matches the desired look before price decides the purchase. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, keep the version and condition consistent across the listings being considered.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open an eligible Ancient Souvenir Package for a chance at the Souvenir version. The skin appears in 8 packages, including Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. Opening a package does not guarantee this particular MP7.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A contract using 10 Consumer Grade skins from The Ancient Collection produces 1 Industrial Grade skin from the same collection. Tall Grass is a possible result, not a guaranteed outcome. The result is random among that collection's Industrial Grade skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing MP7 | Tall Grass listing on the Steam Community Market rather than relying on a random result. Check the exterior, float value, and whether the listing is standard or Souvenir before purchasing.

5. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player for an existing copy of the skin. Confirm the exact MP7, its exterior, float value, and version before accepting, especially when comparing it with marketplace offers.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Standard and Souvenir copies across all available exteriors give traders several condition and version combinations to compare. Professional ownership provides evidence of player interest, but it does not establish strong demand or rapid resale. Without verified supply counts or price history, buy, sell, and trade decisions should focus on individual listings rather than an assumed trend.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Accessible price level

• Owned by named professional players

• Standard and Souvenir collecting options

• Distinctive green hydrographic identity

The editorial investment rating is medium, reflecting its accessible price level, professional ownership, and standard and Souvenir options. These features support a collecting case, but they do not demonstrate rising prices. The main risk is uncertain supply and demand, so the finish alone is not evidence of future returns.
